Day one purchase!
This game is so dependent on head movement and looking for ways around things that I couldn't imagine playing it flat and having the same experience. Having it flat would alter the game so much and it would barely be a middle of the road type game. It's perfect for VR and can see how it was designed straight up for VR.
You guys are dumb, most of us who bought VR for PC bought it for the tech. Sure, there was always going to be games and other apps to the play, but it was about the VR experience.
That's like saying you need add the cost of a 4k tv to your console to the price of your games on Sony PS4
Game is phenomenal looking! Running with a i5 4670K, RTX 2070 Super, and 16GB of Ram. Played a few hours and no issues at all. Most immersive VR experience yet. Easy to get lost and just pick up things and not advance far.
ahhh last I checked the price I paid was the price of the game...
interesting. Reshaed kept crashing the game when I first got it, Had to disable it for it to launch. Will need to double check on the latest version and see if that fixes the issue. Though May wait and see if Nividia puts out a RT option for it as well.
With these custom NVMEs I'll be curious what the life of them are going to be? Hopefully they last just as long as normal ones, if not I imagine the unit will need to be sent in for repair unless you run off of the back up NVMEs or cartridge depending on what you go with.
That's just it though. Keeping it timed for 12-18 months for primary console is going get the console sales. As a console manufacture you don't make money on moving hardware, you rarely break even on that. It's about moving the games. If I have these great Studios and I'm only getting part of the gaming PIE that is just Stupid, Especially when I can keep them timed exclusives and sell them later on other platforms. At some point releasing on the home platform the game jus...
I'll counter and disagree. Not over any fanboy reason, but for the simple sake that there is more money on the table when you look at Gaming as a whole and not just "Exclusive Console". I say make it a time exclusive of 12-18 months then port it over to PC. Hell if you want to get aggressive port all games to all systems. There are always going to those few people who will refuse to buy any other platform but their chosen one.
Ultra wide support alone is worth the double dip. Though I'll wait for it to go on sale, unless it's reasonable priced already when it comes out.
Nope, could care less. I'll wait for sale price then pick it up.
Already joined the founders edition. Just waiting for razor to release the the Kishi so I can play on my phone along with the xCloud.
Goodpoint, by that time they should have the Game of the Year edition. Strong chance it hits GamePass on Xbox anyways.
I'll probably pick this one up on a steam sale. Love the series, but the game queue is just too high right now.
Rather have it on PS4 and Android Phone
@TGGJustin should remake games even be considered for GOY? I always feel that shouldn't be. Yes they have some new and updated stuff, but it's not an original game at heart
They are not going to be able to make enough to Put it out to the Masses at Launch. There will be supply problems especially if they launch in several territories at the same time. I can only speculate how much die yield they are getting as well since these are new parts.
Like they need hundreds of events to promote it. It promotes itself.
I'll wait and see what the rework version is before firing it up. It had promise when it first came out and could have been something, but atlas it was not meant to be. I did log some hours into it and beat the main storyline so I felt I got my money worth out of it.
