@SniperControlI have read that the Nividia Shadowplay can hinder the game. Try disabling that and see how it goes.
That is a possibility. AMD has been doing well with DX12/Mantle that is for sure. I'm holding out until their Vega chipset comes out and then I'll decide on what to get then. Most likely I'll go with a Vega card since I think it will still be cheaper than a 1080 and perform on par or better.
Playing the game with an i5 4670K, R9 290X, and 16GB DDR3 with a resolution of 2560x1080 at high setting and getting a solid 60-70FPS. The only problem I had was when I first launched the game I didn't have the latest AMD driver and the game would crash when optimizing. After updating to the lastest driver it has been solid ever since.
Another one to add to my Library. Sounds like fun and looks very good as well!
This is a step in the right direction! Hopefully as more games come out we continue to see graphical options like this to give better control for user defined settings of games. I think Coalition is going to set a standard with these settings that others will hopefully match.
If The Xbox One Allows HOTAS down the road then I would love to give my X52 a try on that and my 60". On PC I love playing it with my Saitek X52 and my 34" screen, but moving up to the 60" would be just as immersive.
$8 is not bad at all. I have been waiting for this game to go cheap!
My biggest complaint with the Rift was that it was originally suppose to be an open market for VR. Just last year Palmer Lucky was quoted that it would be an open system.

I wonder if there will be a buy it on Xbox one and get it on PC free deal? If they include 21:9 ultrawide resolution on the pc than I'm sold!
I'm not a fan of the "Hey Cortana" Now to turn my Xbox on or off it is "Hey Cortana Xbox On" or Hey Cortana Xbox Turn Off". Plus Cortana does not respond as fast as Xbox did. Seems like the Cortana integration is just slower than I though it should be. On my PC it feels faster.
I sure hope so. Automatic buy no matter how it gets rated.

Just because it is wider doesn't it gives you advantage. You still have to be able to hit the damn target! What's next for Blizzard disable keyboards that run Macros? Mouse and Keyboard are probably the bigger problems than screen resolution.
Just got a LG 34" Ultrawide last month and to see a developer gimp the 21:9 resolution on purpose is just wrong. It's not about getting a competitive advantage, but to be have a more immersive experience! Doom has been fantastic with 21:9 and I am replaying Tomb Raider with 21:9 and that game totally draws you with that resolution! I'll be skipping this game for good now.
@Aenea you really need to check your facts better on AMD GPUs. The R9 290X from 2013 was 5.6TFLOPS

Nice to see AMD be on top of game releases for driver updates.
My Monitor is only one screen and is a 34" screen. I also hate having side by side monitors and the black bevels in the middle. That is why I found a nice big one with a good resolution so I didn't have to put up with those black Bezels.

I'm assuming I had no issue since the game downloaded on it's own and It's showing the Gears 4 App. It just tells me I will need to wait and closes when I launch it.
