You still aren't giving me an example.
They promised DK1, they delivered DK1. People think they deserve stocks or that Oculus are obligated to stay indie, yet they STILL have yet to provide a single bit of proof as to how it has been bad yet. Since the buyout Oculus has done nothing but strive for greatness. Seriously, go look at their team that has been expanded since the buyout. They are researching new HMDs, new input, first party games, and so much more that they simp...
@Kavorklestein
I am calm, I'm not sure where you got the opinion that I wasn't, I was simply after a reason why (which you still didn't provide). And those games would be better at 60FPS, hell even the 'cinematic' feel doesn't exist in gaming whether you like it or not. Film blurs frames together making it feel more fluid, games RENDER the screens perfectly and then show the next frame, there is no blending and it gives a stutter effect at even 30FPS w...
"Selling Oculus to Facebook was a bad decision. "
Provide one example where it was bad, and I mean something that happened, not something you made up in your circlejerk fantasy land.
Facebook allows them to do more research, with better people (some of the best in the world for VR), produce products cheaper with better features, and get exclusive deals with people like Samsung.

Heres a tip, read the article before commenting on the article.
He may be someone that knows not everyone has 100Mb connection with 1ms ping to azure servers.
Upgrade to PC already if you care about amazing looking multi-plat games welfies.
Holy shit you actually went and pasted that in other articles.
An incomplete alpha?! Truly outrageous!
Have Sony said what resolution and framerate they are expecting for final release?
Ah, what? Higher resolution on a BIGGER screen is meaningless? The bigger the screen, the bigger the resolution, or the pixels will be much larger, giving a worse quality image...
They aren't, I posted these links below in another topic and fanboys were quick to pretend they didn't exist.
E3 trailer:

Release:

Those bottom 3 pictures are always so funny, especially when fanboys are so deluded that they believe they are fake. If MS did the same Sony fanboys would be out in full force.
No... You know you can have more than one character model right? They can have higher polygon/textured models (not to mention better lighting, etc) to switch in for cutscenes, like what car games do for their replays.
Companies have been doing pre-staged demos for decades... Wow, he had a controller? It must have been real! Just like MS Kinect demos last year totally weren't faked!
The gameplay was too perfect, and did you notice that the identical gameplay was in the trailer at the end of their conference (along with all the other 'played' games)? If you think they seriously made that trailer as they were presenting you are a fool.
It isn't uncommon for pr...

That's the cutscene directly from the game, on the actors youtube channel.
See my post further up for the E3 one (and a different language version of the retail one). Both screenshots are taken from each cutscene, there is clearly a difference.
E3 footage:

Release footage: (yes it's different language but same game)

Further downgrades: (edit: just realised this was model downgrade between games, my previous point still stands)

Can't believe people believe that is gameplay...
Even the first comment here's twitter screenshot clearly states that it is IN-ENGINE. That does NOT mean gameplay.
There is absolutely no chance that the game will have individual leaf physics, and individual particles for water that collides with other water particles.
It is impressive and I'm sure it will blow everyone away when proper gameplay is shown, but it isn't going to ...
Point me to the part where they state there is no real goal then. Don't worry, I don't expect you to, because they don't say that. What they did say is that the game is in very, very early development. Look at the prototype footage, some of the vehicles are extremely bland and don't even have textures! While your doing that, take note of how you can also clearly see time trials, and other goal oriented challenges on the hud.
You don't like the fact that they are hiring more people, researching better/newer options, cheaper hardware, and first party games? I guess we have different tastes.
