Game is so dead now that we can't farm goblin runs over and over, or hand in quests over and over for xp!

Gotta love people who hate on a sport simply because they don't like it. Is cricket popular in America? No. Does that mean the rest of the world hates it? No. Cricket games have been made before, and have actually been really fun, one of my favourites to play even though I am not a cricket fan at all.
Yes, CoD is selling terribly, FPS are doomed, nobody will ever buy any of them.

The 'anti-piracy bullshit' isn't a magical virus scanner that can stop you from phishing attempts and all the other stuff that people have been getting their info stolen from. Has the game been pirated/emulated? Has any duping of items occured? Have any in game bots been created? I'd say the DRM is working perfectly as intended.

PC gaming never went away, just because everyone doesn't all flock to one game to ramp up the sales and then stop playing it the next week doesn't mean it's dead. Join any popular game from the last 10-15 years and the community are still all alive and running, can't say the same for many games on console for even the last 2 years of being released.

I prefer PC, many prefer 360, many prefer PS3, it all depends on what you like. Saying 'it may change' and 'no hope' is trolling or stupidity at its finest. I don't understand it either. Plenty of multi-platform games are amazing compared to some exclusives, and the whole exclusive deal means you have to pay for a PC, Xbox360 and PS3 just to play all the top exclusives, and then it just sits there collecting dust until the next exclusive comes out while you play on your pc/console of choice.
With the content the latest DLC provides, the $7 for portal 2 is an amazing price, you won't be disappointed. ;)

They could implement a system that slowly does damage to the player if they don't move a certain distance in time (or starts taking away points/kdr), or they could just go the good route and make actual good maps that don't encourage camping by having multiple paths to locations, there are reasons why there are no/little campers in games like Counter Strike, Team Fortress and Unreal Tournament.

Madden is just run, pass, score, run, pass, score. See how easy it is? CoD is "not hella different, just different" as well, different campaign, different levels, different guns, different game modes.
You can say all you want, both are rehashed games and neither EA or Activision should abuse the opposing franchise for doing something that they both do.
You must have beta and demo confused. A demo is to try the game, a beta is to test the game for server problems, bugs, how powerful everything is, etc.
If you were filling out a customer survey that was 0 to 10, you wouldn't put an 8 if it was average, you would put a 5.
0 = worst
- below average
5 = average
- above average
10 = perfect
Do you see how this works? Games don't get scored on a schooling system, is a game below an averaged review of a 70 counted as a failure and not put on shelves?
