There is nothing wrong with what CoD 'had'. I hate it because what it has turned into, you may say it is the same as what it use to be, but it isn't. It is why a lot of fans, especially PC ganers, now hate CoD.
The game use to be about quick SHOOTING gameplay. They had only a few killstreaks (radar, missiles, chopper for CoD3) and nothing else. The game was still about being a shooter. Now they take it away, make all these stupid perks like last stand and martyr (they were...
I remember when people waited years for games to come out, and yet they can't wait an extra 3 hours for the same game, and have to complain on a forum.
Metro was 32 players on PC and felt fine. Caspian Border was 64 players and I never once had the feeling that there were to many people. If anything, Caspian Border could use more people. I have faith in DICE knowing the right amount of players.
Microsoft has a specific rule that all disc games MUST be playable without the use of a HDD, thus why they have the OPTION to install to the HDD if you have one...
Blizzard says hi.
Save games are only a few MBs... why would you delete them? Delete some game data instead.

Sorry I thought it was obvious I was being sarcastic. Indeed it was terrible logic, that was what I was trying to state. I was just using his example of games, with DVDs to show how they are exactly the same, apart from one is frowned upon and one isn't.
Just because the game was bought new, doesn't mean that everyone has the right to buy used games. It is still a loss to the developers and is no different than buying pirated movies...
Yeah, instead of everyone buying a DVD, someone should just buy it once and then share it with everyone, after all, the DVD was once new.
I don't think anyone has been complaining about it on PC after they have patched most of the beta problems and released Caspian Border for all PC players to play.
*comparison of beta*
Dice have stated that this isn't the final graphics, especially for the PC. The beta for PC was 4gb, if they didn't trim it down it would have been massive.
@hazelamy - Cross game chat. Of which, no, I don't care about it as I play my multiplayer games on PC.
@WitWolfy - Yes, I have gone back and played a game because of a trophy. I didn't already own the games and purchase another copy for the sole purpose of getting trophies when I have the same game though. If you enjoy the game so much that you would rebuy it when you already own it, why don't you just play that instead. Like I said above, you can set challanges f...
I don't understand why people would rebuy a game they already own just for the fact of making a number go up on their screem.
No trophies? Set challanges for yourself, you don't need some pixels tell you that you have achieved something. The people beating the worlds hardest games, and beating Mario in record time don't get trophies, and they have a bigger e-peen then most trophy hunters will ever get.

Yes, I am satisfied, I just hate the argument of 'I have a life". Many, many people who play games have a life, not everyone is a stereotypical geek who drinks 40 cans of mountain dew a day while playing games 20 hours a day.
" I have a life and don't really have time to wait for mandatory disk installs."
Go live your life while it installs, that is a pathetic reason.
Seriously, shut up. You know nothing and are just going zombie mode from what Sony tells you. Go read Dice's notes. They studied the PS3 and learnt so much new stuff for BF3 alone on how to optimise everything, they are not being 'pc fanboys'. I'd say a developer knows a hell of a lot more than you do when it comes to 'architecture'. Do you even know what 'architecture' means or are you just saying it because Sony and First Party devs throw it around?

@thespaz
What the engine is 'doing' IS the important thing.
Map size is one of the biggest reasons the game looks worse. If you have just a single room you can smash through textures and polygons and make it look amazing. Go to a big map and you can only do so much with the tech you have.
BF3 has larger, more open maps which means that it has to load completely different, why do you think the single player of BF3 looks better? Because...
If you compare these screenshots to the PC gameplay that DICE have released it's pretty clear that they dumbed it down a lot. The final release will look much better.
" lighting, particle effects, and textures"
Ahh...what else would there be? Better geometry? The three things you named are the main parts that make a game look good (apart from AA, resolution and FPS which PC is better in).
I think it's more to do with the fact that most people who want to play Crysis on PC would have already played it. It's a lot of effort and money to rebuild the entire game for PC to only get a low amount of sales for it. Where as most console players wouldn't have played it so the chance for more sales is a lot greater.
The resolution the game renders at has nothing to do with the texture quality, all though CoD does have bland, single coloured textures that look disgusting.
