Good for MS, they deserve it. They have strategically placed themselves in an envious spot in the world of gaming, and they have exclusives that by far generate more buzz than those on other platforms.
What they need to focus on is more first party exclusives in my opinion because while Halo and Gears generate more buzz than any other exclusives, they still are only two franchises, and any franchise will lose steam after a while.
I'd pick 360 as the winner too. Look at the positions of MS and Sony at this point in the last generation. Look at where they're at now. Big difference, huh?
I was somewhat anticipating Halo 4 until I saw the demo at E3, now I CAN'T WAIT!
The most anticipated game ever though? Don't know. I know when I was a kid it seemed like Super Mario Bros. 3 was pretty anticipated, hell, it debuted in a movie!
Hey you know what, good for Epic. No one wants a "PS3.5" or "Xbox 360.5". Nothing worse than being underwhelmed.
If the next console generation is going to last as long as the current one then the consoles need to be as powerful as possible right out of the gate. The only problem is that neither company wants to find themselves in the situation that Sony found themselves in with the PS3 and its outrageous launch price. You have to find a balance betw...
Naughty Dog and Santa Monica are the graphics kings so far this gen, in my opinion.
Honestly, I was a little skeptical about the future of Halo after Bungie moved on, but after reading the cover story of the new Game Informer, I'm very optimistic. And even though graphics are just the icing on the cake of what makes a great game, this Halo will look stunning (let's face it, graphics was never Bungie's strong suit).
I'll be getting Halo before any COD game.
Who is gonna win depends on how old you are. If you're a little kid who likes Pokemon then Nintendo is going to win. If you are an older gamer who likes a lot of great exclusives then Sony will win.
Some ergonomics and real triggers would be nice. I will take it over the Wii-mote though.
What a crappy controller. I'm sure it will be cool for gimmicky games made exclusively for it, but who wants to play something like Assassin's Creed 3 or a shooter on that thing? No thank you.
Sony is going to be at E3. Breaking news, stop the presses. No one saw this coming.
Guys, I'm pretty sure that the "*adjusts tin foil hat*" part of Logic's comment indicates that he was joking. Don't know why I'm even bothering typing this though. I've been coming to this website for years now and it's amazing the number of people that post on here that don't know how to detect sarcasm.
I'm pretty sure that the Star Wars Christmas Special and George Lucas himself took Star Wars's last ounce of dignity before Microsoft ever did.
Next gen games will cost $70...that's what GameStop and Amazon are hoping for, at least.
Whatever "Kara" is, the video we saw was brilliant and powerful. It left the viewer saying "wow" at the end. I would love to see something more come out of this.
Lame.
Mass Effect 3 is a great game. There is no game on the market that can't improve in some way. No refunds should be given unless the disc is broken.
M83, censorship would be a higher power forbidding Bioware from allowing a gay Shepard in the game. I don't support that. Instead, I just think, for the hundredth time, that for continuity purposes the option of a gay male Shepard shouldn't have been in the game.
When I made that line about lesbians in my first comment, it was a joke. But I will say this...those who chose to play as a female Shepard have had the option to be lesbian since ME 1. In other words, the ...
Poo, was having Shepard be gay in ME 1 and 2 an option? If it was than I wasn't aware of it, and my argument would then be null and void. But if the male Shepard was straight in the first two than it just doesn't make sense to have him be gay in the third. I don't care about him being gay, I just want the story to make sense, which is not too much to ask.
@M83, I certainly support total creativity. I don't think they should have had the possibility of Shepard being gay, for story continuity purposes, however I fully support Bioware's right to make it if they want to.
I have a strong hate of censorship. I hate when the right tries to censor people who have something to say about religion and I hate when the left tries to be the thought police and censor people for saying something racial or sexual.

"Sony likes to be the last to launch its system"...
Yeah, do they really?
