I'm in Film and TV production. I mainly use Premiere(PC) and Avid/Final Cut(Mac).
My personal preference is for Premiere as I find it more intuitive, however that doesn't matter as the industry is heavily Mac biased and it is notoriously difficult to transfer video files from PC to Mac (it's actually easy if you don't intend to use the footage professionally and don't mind the odd artefact/dropped frame).

Well Sony had loads of innovative titles on the difficult to program PS3, so it should have been much easier to produce something for the 360, but they did nothing new at all.
Not in the slightest. Sony have a much wider range and depth of titles on PS4 than any other console.

Any innovation on Sony consoles is generally performed by Sony studios, MS rely on third parties to do anything interesting.

Because they are more stable, more secure and have much better business/creative software. PC's are great for gaming but suck for anything serious.

The Xbox was designed as a marketing device. When it was initially revealed the keenest of all groups were advertising and marketing companies.
I remember going to one advertising personel site where everyone was saying how Xbox would revolutionise marketing by gathering information about individuals and targeting advertising directly towards them.
