I believe the t-shirt he wore had an indie dev logo on it, suggesting Microsoft were all about supporting Indies too, hence the "token indie" part. Sony were just calling BS on Microsoft trying to jump on the indie bandwagon.

Major Nelson just lies all the time and makes too many mistakes to be likeable.
MS don't have a sense of humour (they take themselves too seriously), so when they do take a shot its generally nastier and more bitter sounding.
If they were funny like Sony, they wouldn't get the responses they do. They're like the kid at school who can't take playground banter and get all worked up and hit out. You know, the kid that nobody likes and everyone winds up for laughs.
Titanfall is nothing special, the only people who think it is are Xbox rentboys. Nobody is begging for it, just stating that its likely to come to PS4 anyway. If not, who cares? Not me for sure.

I haven't played either yet, but I'm more interested in DriveClub than Forza 5 because of its gameplay features. Last gen? Have you seen the alpha build? Plus it's coming from evolution who have yet to make a bad driving game.
At this point in time I prefer DriveClub, it offers something new and the lighting is amazing.

That sounds impressive, so they must have won "best hardware" category at gamescom then surely? Oh wait a minute....
Sony uses an equivalent to DirectX 11.2 that has all the features but allows coding closer to the metal, so thats not really an advantage either.

I'm most excited to see what Media Molecule are cooking (you know the game that stopped Shuhei's brain from working).
I think it's a pretty good bet that it won't be a standard game genre (MM are too creative for that). Something amazing with a touch of British eccentricity is what I'm expecting.
Well if tour using power to decide your purchase you will be buying a PS4, so the kinect you buy will be totally useless.
