What beast do you mix with human genetics to get a vampire? What beast would you add to create a troll? (maybe we should ask Belking).
Griffins are half lion, half eagle (no part human) so its a bit of a stretch to be able to include them also.
I'm expecting a whole new series of previously unseen monsters, apart from the obvious inclusion of werewolves.

I think that's the point being made, can you name a single PS2 game that looked better than a single PS360 launch title whatever the genre?

I'm not saying I agree with the article as its obvious that the more realistic looking graphics become, the smaller the visual difference between generations will become, its inevitable.

@Mydying
Maybe you should stop referring to it as a 'video games market crash' (as PC's play videogames too) and call it a 'console game market crash'.
At the time there was no real difference between the PC and console market as PC's were used exclusively for gaming by the vast majority (well over 90% of owners NEVER used them for anything else). Gaming was an emerging market and people were trying different formats to see what worked. Today's mar...

Not at all, but we're not seeing their more interesting cars here, no F1 just the filth ugly 'hot-hatches' they insist on releasing and a single old LeMans car.

The so called 'video game market crash' passed me and everyone else by at the time, you seem to bang on about it like it was a huge deal, it really wasn't. Console games died out for a while and everyone moved on to one of the many competing personal computers.
There were loads of great games being made at the time (mid eighties) and it was a great time to be a gamer. Look at the C64 for example, the software was abundant in the mid e...

Gamers today are fairies, in the early to mid eighties every single game was broken in some way, some so much so that they were impossible to finish (Jet Set Willie). Nobody complained about this, they just enjoyed the games for what they were and had fun with them.
Today's gamers act like whinging girls who complain endlessly about anything and everything.
I suppose that to truly appreciate video games you have to remember how dull life could be before they became read...

Announcing Renault as a contributing manufacturer is about as exciting as announcing a cheese sandwich as a new dish on the menu of a Michelin starred restaurant.

@Lifeisgamesok

If you don't have access to internet services you don't buy the game, its a choice made by the developer to make the title online only (there are still plenty of games that you can play).

If that decision is made by a console manufacturer and you have no internet, you can't play a single game on the console (making the entire console and not just the game completely irrelevant to you).

If you can't see the diff...

I put so many hours into gauntlet in my youth (both arcade and C64 versions), it does get a little mind-numbing after 150 levels or so. I only ever managed 4 or 5 hours straight. It's a great game though, one of my all-time favourites.

I loved the original Joe Danger, it gave me a taste of 'Kickstart' gameplay that I haven't had since my C64 died.

They're quality devs, lots of little creative touches in their games and high production values, you'd never guess they were such a small outfit.

To be completely honest, I started watching the video thinking how great project cars looks, but a third of the way through I started looking at the PS3 screen more and more, its amazing that they can make it look that good with such limited resources (512 Megabytes split into 2 pools (awkward), 7 year old GPU that was considered mid-range at best when released).

Project Cars does look great, but run it through a mid-range 7yo PC with 256MB of ram and a 256MB video card for ...

Whilst I agree with you in the most part, there are certain 'legacy' features that should really have been there from the start. I love my PS4 and know that a new console takes time to develop its ecosystem (I bought a PS3 at launch too and saw it grow and develop over time). However there are certain things that it should simply do straight away.

It should play CD's and MP3's out of the box, some may say it's a dying medium (CD's that is), but it take...

Its funny that if you say the word "Asian" to an American they generally think of China, Japan, Korea etc whereas if you say "Asian" to a British person they are more likely to think of India or Pakistan, I suppose it has something to do with our history in the region and immigration patterns of each respective country (although there are immigrants from all parts of Asia in both America and the UK).
Asia is such a diverse and interesting continent.

" According to multiple articles the Wii u is sold out at many major retailers ."

According to multiple other articles it's been removed from the shelves in many others.
Just adding a little balance here.

From article;
"The Japanese sales are in and Super Mario 3D World has only sold about 100,000 units in its first week making it the worse debut of a 3D Mario game ever. Worst yet is that Wii U sales only increased by 5,000 units, terrible for a game that is supposed to be the savior of a platform."

Whoops!
