Exactly, I had a PS3 from launch and it had almost no features at first. I was always expecting this to be the case with PS4 too.
It's one of the drawbacks of being one of the first people on the planet to own a new console. There are lots of benefits too though (like all the extra months of gaming experiences late adopters miss out on).

You should play a few games from just 20 years ago, then you'd change your tune. Try playing "Magic Carpet" a huge AAA title in its day (early-mid nineties), you'll feel ill within half an hour.

NO! They're not.
Last gen that was mostly down to far more quality titles being released on PS3. Like a big fish in a small pond, it was one of the few big franchises released so more people bought it.
I would rather the XBOne have more original IP's selling fewer copies each than every halo game selling record numbers because there's little else to purchase (ala 360).

It's not like he could be very positive about anything Microsoft released for the 360 in 2013, so it's a case of "say something positive about Sony's titles and 3rd parties or say nothing at all."
Microsoft took another gap-year in terms of 360 development last year.

If TitanFall was available Xbox One only (maybe with a future PC launch some way down the line), it would have been a HUGE system seller. As it stands, it will sell systems but I really think Microsoft missed a trick (or were adverse to taking what could be a huge risk).
Now it is unlikely that Xbox One will be the lead platform for sales of the game at all. There is a serious risk that TitanFall will be seen as a P.C. game first and foremost with a good but inferior XB1 vers...
The only times I've had a shock from electrical equipment its been the full 240 volts (UK standard). Winters here are very damp so I've never experienced the static problems people have mentioned.
I'm feeling a little left out now, I may have to go and stick my fingers in a light socket again (don't ask, I was very young and flew 8 ft through the air, great fun).
I've been playing this more than any other game since launch. I absolutely love it, its a great game. I didn't realise it hasn't released in the states yet.
There are two main control schemes for the DS4, the default (simplified controls) uses the right stick like a mouse to point anywhere on the screen that you want to shoot. It makes shooting very easy but you don't have full control of the plane (it automatically flies to wherever you point).
