2) Buy a PS4

They're not forcing parity, they are just proving that with almost unlimited resources and thousands of hours of extra work from some of the worlds best coding talent, Xbox One can match the PS4 in regards to framerate and resolution.
I wonder how much extra time and money it took to get the Xbox version up to scratch (an awful lot I imagine).
A 5-10% attach rate is about par for the majority of 3rd party titles. Do you really think a dev would spend time and effort developing a game for a system when they're only likely to sell 750k copies?
At the rate they're selling the WiiU it will take over 5 years to reach 20 million. That is an important milestone as it is considered the point at which a console is considered to have a sustainable ecosystem with enough users to warrant being viewed as an essential platform by all developers.
The problem is by that time, the WiiU will be well outside its use-by date.
A console can be considered a failure if its lifetime sales are less than 20 million. It looks...

There's nothing to implement or test though, shareplay works automatically and works in exactly the same way on all titles. It doesn't affect the game software in any way, shape or form. There is no testing necessary.
Maybe, but I'll probably get it for PS4 (even though my PC's are both more powerful), I just prefer console gaming.
