But the games still look fantastic for 'weak machines'. I enjoy my exclusives too much to invest in a PC I doubt I'd play it much. Ghost of Tsushima is amazing amd beautiful to look at on seriously old hardware.
I game for 80% less cost using physical discs so it has to be that version. Still baffles me they can get away with charging more than a physical version when it costs far less to get it to the consumer.
I still wonder why people don't just sell games rather than wait up to a year to play something you want. I get if you want to stay fully digital but I buy games at around £45 and usually sell them for 80% of what I paid.
It's a low graphic side scroller. Im sure the PS5 is more than capable of 120 too but what's the point. Watch the gameplay there is no screen movements, 120 vs 60 will be barely noticeable for this type of game, and 99.9% of console gamers only have a display that runs 60 anyway.
I'd be winning to bet no proper graphically intense game will run at 120 on the XSX and 60 on the PS5 at the same resolution/fidelity because the power difference needed is incredibly h...
Why don't they have a right? Games we're up to $70 in the early 90s and look how small scale they were. They didn't take 4 years and they didn't have development teams of hundreds of people. We have it good in my opinion to be just about ticking back to those prices. And let's remember that's digital, physical will always be cheaper to game.
Was it dangerous in 1992 when they were?
Digital only will never fully happen simply because of poor Internet. Personally I'd never buy digitally because it would cost be over 5x as much to game. Physical gaming is SO much cheaper
But after that year the game will be ultra cheap anyway..
Not always, SNES games in the early 90s were up to $70. I seem to remember N64 being expensive too. We have it good compared to those prices.
Had to be one moron didn't there.
Who wasted $60 I'm loving it and I'll sell it for pretty much what I paid when I'm done.
Coincidentally I'll end up paying less than that to play it day one.
As if you think the Xbox will run games at 4k/120 😂
Why wouldn't you on the other hand? You could sell it for close to what you paid when the PS5 comes out and have all that gaming time.
Don't agree with any of this. Try playing on hard it's actually amazing. Camera is great once you've altered the settings. And when you look into what the story actually means it's very inventive.
I don't know why people are trying to blow through it so fast I'm savouring everything. Nearly 30 hours and I'm still on chapter 9.
People will spend 600 on consoles though. 14 years before the PS5 the 60GB PS3 was 599. That's close to 800 in today's money. People are out there buy $1000-1500 phones today. Back then that certainly didn't happen.
Anyone who doesn't know this by now only has themselves to blame. I must have read it 500 times that's it's only part 1
I must say you are funny if you think a console that cost £999 would only be equivalent to a mid range PC
This is the thing though isn't it, normally it's at an event and the prices of both consoles are released within hours and set in stone. It's completely different this year because whoever bites first and says a price gives the other time to reevaluate.
