Thing is if a game is next gen and PC only, the lowest common denominator would be the PC and they have to accommodate users far less powerful than the next gen (90% of users)
When you think about it what Mattrick did isn't too dissimilar to now. He shot himself in the foot by telling people to buy Xbox 360. And releasing no games for Series X basically says stay with your old Xbox

Most finished console? How can you have a finished console with literally zero things designed for it playable. Series X plays last gen with no issues because that's the only thing they have so they need to get at least that right

TLOU2 looks better though. It's a better looking game. Don't get me wrong I know part of that is because it's not open world but scene by scene its better graphically. And even if you are of the opinion it's not. As you said 'full tilt', you're comparing state of the art $2000+ 2020 equipment to 2010 standard parts and not seeing much of a marketed difference. They have no excuse for not making it look good looking at it like that.
This isn't just vibration it's completely different, I've never actually felt water through a controller. Sand under feet, skating on ice and being able to differentiate and tell what surface I'm on without looking. It's the future of gaming. You can turn it off, but the only possible way you'll be doing that is on multiplayer. They wouldn't release it if it breaking was common.
Of course some will break, its electronics. Even if 1 in 1000 people have an issue that's still 10,000 faulty controllers. As with anything the ones who will speak up are the ones with issues so it looks more widespread than it is.
Gotta disagree to be honest. When you see the graphics of RDR2 and the character models of TLOU2 on base consoles. It does seem within the realms for CDPR to produce a similar looking game. Especially with the witcher 3 looking so good. The issue was they didn't release footage specifically of base gen consoles. Obviously for a reason now
Absolute rubbish mike. With ten million sold there's gonna be some defective. It's electronics. Even if 0.1% are defective. That's 10,000 defective controllers. As with anything the only people who speak up are the oned with issues so it seems far more widespread than it is. You clearly don't own a PS5 cause literally everyone I've spoke to with a PS5 says it's the best controller they've ever used.

A little low but I'm not surprised. It's ridiculous such a high profile game is released in such a state, especially on base consoles. And it's not just about the bugs, they lauded the AI but it's the worst I've seen in a AAA game for a while. In a year when it's fixed it may be a 9 but right now it's certainly not

This is the first true next gen title in my opinion. I don't believe this game could be made for any other platform because of the world warping. It wouldn't work if there was a delay
