It's likely designed around the SSD so the PS4 wouldn't be able to run it. The OG version suffered badly with tunnelling and walking to load areas. This should be eliminated.
Its just a DLC. Honestly all the parts won't even be on PS4 so there will be complaints about that. Personally I think this is a good move. This game should be a next gen game really. It suffered pretty bad with tunnelling and walking because of loading. They can make this DLC into how the game actually should be without having to do that
Why does this game need the space? I have 8 new games in the space just COD takes up alone. It's not even open world and it's a last gen game. They have no excuse. They must have the worst compression in the business
'Final fantasy had to become action because turn based doesn't sell. 2.5 million from an new IP says it does.
@redpigdoom and Persona is a far less known series so if you equate that to what a FF would sell it's much more.
And there hasn't. Name one title you would call amazing in the last 15 years? They all get slated to hell. Personally I love them as I'm a fan but they are not even in the same conversation as the old ones.
It's been 5 years, the longest break without a mainline title in series history 😂
To be honest it's not at all. Persona 5 sold a load of copies and it's a less known series. Dragon Quest, Yakuza switched to turn based and reviewed and sold well. Problem is everything is turned into a hack and slash these days and some games suffer because of it. There hasn't really been an amazing FF title since they switched from turn based, it speaks volumes.
Amazing game. And I've still not managed to do the 1000 skips legitimately 😫
That's not true really. Only 2 of the best 15 weapons are acquired by stealing from enemies
But again we're going back to the graphics of the day, which looked good to us then. And the music is possible, the PS1 Final Fantasies are some of the best soundtracks of all time so it's certainly possible to have a good musical score. And the late 90s RPGs are very wordy (and good at it) so I don't think dialog is an issue. I think it may have worked
It may look butt ugly but can you imagine if we had games of that scale back then, with thoughts to quests etc. For instance something comparable to original runescape graphics but with the full game of this. I wonder how we would have perceived it at that time.
I'd honestly be happy if PS5 games looked this good. Stunning game and makes you wonder what #2 can deliver, especially if it's next gen only
Playing part 1 at the moment whilst I wait for Yakuza to be released, it's good. Surprised I haven't got into this series earlier
Living in the UK and being signed up to stock alerts for everywhere the Series X and S were alerting me almost daily for different retailers. For the PS5 I've had 1 since the first week in January. it's no surprise it's sold more with the availability.
Astonishing number. Soon to rise with the PS5 version (not that I agree with another port when GTA 6 is more than overdue) but why would they if people keep spending money on the online 😫😫
If you look close enough you can see with naked eye. Impressive!
Honestly, good. I'm really excited for this because it was a great game. But in 2021 it shouldn't look like a high quality PS3 game
I hope fixing the trophies is in this 😫
Days gone and Detroit at 18 and 15 respectively is a travesty with a weaker entry in the series much higher (FFXV) as they are both fantastic experiences. But it shows them quality of the list as a whole that they are.
Been absolutely loads released in the last couple of weeks in the UK
