Because a game like Uncharted 4 took its animations to the next level, yet again. This sounds like a prettier lick of paint and that's about it. Might as well just stuck with Unreal engine 3.
One more person just got their PlayStation VR preorder in, thanks for cancelling.
Yep, look at all the native 4K games announced for Scorpio so far and out in the next month too. The tables sure have turned lol. Oh wait, no, we are still here in the "its 1 year away to be making MASSIVE assumptions" argument.
But then maybe they are right, PS4 was always able to use that 40% power and extra next gen GDDR5 over Xbone to either put out absolutely stunning PS4 games that put any Xbone game to shame or easily hit that standard, 2006 TV, 1080p resol...
Except it isn't the same thing.......... at all. Millions of people will be pissed the headphone jack is missing from the iPhone 7 whether you want to believe it or not, we aren't talking sales mind.
10 people will be pissed when they realise the PS4 can't play their 1 single 4K Bluray movie on disc that they own and you can repeat that exact statement even by the end of 2017.
How is that the same thing? It would be the CLOSER to same thing if PS4 Pro d...
Lol resolution isn't absolutely everything. You can play Quantum Break at 8K resolution and 120fps, it doesn't stop the fact you are taken straight out of the game when the character's arm clips straight through a wall like a PS2 Max Payne game with his walk animation. When THAT happens it still looks like garbage.
For other games 1080p/60fps WILL be the target. Do people think after Halo 5 targeting 60fps first and the fluctuating resolution thing an afterthought that the next one will be 4K 30fps? We know now that it won't be.
And if they want to push Halo to be somewhat an impressive looking game the next time, you bet the original Xbone is going to be holding it back yet again which will hurt the Scorpio version regardless.
So true. One of the best and pretty much only actual exclusive games on the Xbone console AFTER the console was on the market almost 2 years (apart from Forza 5 but that was meh, remasters obviously don't count as they never do on PlayStation) until Halo 5 came out.................and it sadly never even broke a million units.
Even on Games with Gold, millions still haven't played it which proves it doesn't matter if the game launched when there was a larger base, people ...
The only reason I'm appreciative of this article is that I now know to ignore http://vgrhq.com who will no doubt be at the forefront of the "Why The Last Guardian is terrible" modern day articles, after the game hits.
If only your kind were around when Shadow of the Colossus came out, we were so lost and dumb back then.
Why the negs? That was some read and it all checks out.
"now capable of outputting 4K video and upscaling 1080p games to something closer to ultra-HD"
Lol how many games this year ran at native 1080p resolution on Xbone that aren't racing games??? Walk before you can run. "Swinging" my ass.
Did 10 million people buy a Wii U with 2 months notice? Not even close. But they did buy 10 million PS4s day one with 9 months notice.
Still waiting to play a majority of PS2 games "perfectly" on that awful PCSX2 emulator so I wouldn't hold my breath.
What is strange is that only 7 months ago the idea that Quantum Break coming to PC was completely laughable and Microsoft "would never be so stupid to do something like that"................... the catch..........this is what Xbone fans were saying.
Would you have ever thought in early 2016 that by years end you would be trying to convince yourself that exclusive games to a games console mean nothing? Very strange indeed.
Oh and you should defin...
How so? Are you referring to the hours and hours of Live action cutscenes from the biggest overhyped Xbone game so far for the console??? Or is it Recore that proved to lack very much in the gameplay department and was an overall disappointment??? (although that CGI E3 2015 "gameplay" trailer had you all hyped as shit lol)
So because the glorious Phil said it, Sony are just focused on sales now and are done with amazing actual exclusives like this year's Alien...
Lol more like a reaction to the GDDR5 capabilities of the PS4 that blew away everybody at the PS4 reveal (the part about it being 8gbs anyway, even Digital Foundry said there was no way it would be higher than 4gbs).
Its a reaction from Microsoft themselves and proof that the Xbone truly is an incredibly weak and disappointing 8th generation console when it comes to specs.
But as you say, yeah what happened to Cloud POWA and the likes of Crackdown 3?
Lol whenever I see that "Dualshock Edition" all I can think of is https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Its just so different to the original game's https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Most of the "alternate" music in the Dualshock Edition is just strange.
Exactly. No game streaming, no game trials, terrible slow menu, no F2P games (except the one they released but only because they could control the storage size of it since they made it), a camera you never use and didn't want (don't lie, unless you admit want 10% of the system resources used up again by it), hardly any games to take advantage of your 1080p TV from 2006 (the games you even mentioned anyway), no games with gold, no regrets.
And everyone agrees it suc...
Lol article is hilarious on all accounts.
- Talks about how amazing it would be for a console to run games like Halo at native 4K. Why? The original "current gen" Xbone can't even run the latest, current gen, Halo game at standard native 1080p.
- Talks about how having the most ppowerful console isn't really what sales are about but then goes on to say how "the Playstation 4 Pro could fall behind in performance and ultimately in sales"
- ...
I think he is hurting the books more. I haven't got round to collecting the books yet but after hearing this guy whining yet again, I don't think I'm bothered now.
