Remember when Xbox One was going to be a full 1080p machine? Oh yeah, in defense Microsoft never actually said that but you sure all did assume 100% (me included) that it would until Oct 2013 when the big reveal of an under powered console for this gen emerged and all that E3 footage beforehand was completely fake.

It sure is. It more than likely won't have visuals that will impress that much beyond the early 21st century anyway i.e. a main series Pokemon game that will look better than 2001's Final Fantasy X as a basic example.

I've said it before, one of the biggest edges the PS4 Pro has over Scorpio is that it ISN'T the PS4 Pro that will be held back by a substantially weak, ddr3 architecture system, that it MUST share its games with. It is the Scorpio that unfortunately has to do this.

I agree sort of. It wasn't terrible but it sure was a MASSIVE disappointment coming off GTA San Andreas. Incredibly boring and forgettable characters, strange weird post processed graphics (that look AMAZING in The Ballad of Gay Tony because they essentially turned off those post process filters), the music was very forgettable too.

I guess when the guys behind the Farming Simulator games (not very technically demanding games or seem to be improving much over the years either) announce Mod support for the PS4 version of the new game due in another week or so, Bethesda had to get their heads out of their asses.
Lets wait and see if PS4 mod support on FS 17 is the exact same as the Xbone version i.e. each console's mod support is built from the ground up for that particular console and not Xbone fir...
@moldybread Rockstar Games like to push the envelope on current gen systems. They will not be able to do this on the Nintendo Nx. Plus the fact they are not going to risk losing out on literally millions upon millions of sales of a new Red Dead.
Do you think the Nintendo Nx will instantly have 20 million plus units sold at launch, 2 months later, 6 months later, even 2 years on??? No it won't and Rockstar know this too. Maybe it will get Red Dead Chinatown Wars a bit later lol. ...

@ninsigma Exactly. They were still lying about resolution of games last year like Quantum Break saying it runs at 1080p no problem or even other games that run at a dynamic resolution and only hit 1080p 5% of the time. "Yeah but we meant it kind of runs at 1080p" that sort of thing.
