It WAS revealed to exist by Nintendo almost 2 years ago in March 2015. Nobody asked them to, Nintendo did this themselves. It "feels" like 2 years ago to you because it pretty much nearly is, lol. All the rumours and leaks are, again, all Nintendo's own fault.

Yeah just like that thing called the Wii U, it was just "fully revealed" (in the same context the article is implying as in we finally got a price and release date) in September 2012 and then it launched 2 months later in November 2012. It failed, BIG TIME. What a concept.

Haha what the hell is that crap in that picture? So glad I never touched a Silent Hill game after 4.

We already know it will be. Some of us have been saying it since it was announced. As soon as they are happy with any boost in sales to Infinite Warfare, they will release it separate then for the extra money.

I saw this game in June 2013 when it was at E3 and I gave up on it in................. June 2013. Seriously never saw the big deal. "Holy crap, look at the way the glass breaks on cars with bullet holes like 2002 PS2 game The Getaway, incredible".
Then again I still don't see the big deal about Evolve, Destiny, Watchdogs and its sequel, Rainbow Six Newest One, Titanfall and its sequel (although with that one I was told I was just jealous of it and if a sequel ever came ...

"Microsoft will unveil to the public the Xbox Scorpio on the Holiday season of 2017" Lol no, this is not Nintendo, they will be unveiling the console long before its out in Holiday season of 2017. I don't think I need to read anything more beyond that clumsiness.

Its "worth the wait", so don't bother with an Xbone now if you don't have one yet and just wait? Or, its worth just simply waiting for regardless if you have an Xbone console already...

But does it have new tunes from Namco's Sound Team or just reused ones?

You lost the right to be able to say that Ubi after the disastrous "next gen" Assassin's Creed game engine built from the ground up for these consoles. You can still redeem yourselves next year with Assassin's Creed Next Gen Game Engine Take Two.
Now that it will be coming to FOUR different consoles/platforms that utilise GDDR5, you can do a better job. Actually, could you do a solid and just leave original Xbone out pretty please?

The exclusives on even standard PS4 will compete with Scorpio................ easily.

3526d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

Scorpio is a "next gen" GDDR5 console that will have to share its games with a 2004 last gen tech, ddr3 architecture console. Like you said, it is what it is.

3526d ago 3 agree2 disagreeView comment

EXACTLY, I've said that before, its the same power difference ratio to the current PS4 and Xbone. However, Scorpio is using the same architecture of PS4 which makes it even less of an impact than there was between current PS4 and Xbone. Weird the way nobody is seeing that and keeps yelling "HARP DARP, BEAST!!!!!!!!!".

One major difference is the 12gbs of memory, now all that sideload crap won't be draining as much resources on the console but knowing them ...

Nah, Scorpio is also GDDR5, nothing massively game changing going on there. We aren't talking the gargantuan gap there is between PS4 and Xbone here you know. If you DON'T think there much a difference between the current PS4 and Xbone (ddr3 vs GDDR5), I have no idea why you and so many others think Scorpio is considered a "beast" by comparison then.

Its already doing it quite easily with the standard PS4. Still waiting for that game on Xbone that can go further technically than Infamous Second Son, lets not even mention any PS4 exclusives after that yet.

The 3rd party developers "stole" something from the Elite controllers? No wonder they are being called ugly as sin then.

What, he was abused by a sorceress when he was a child, then she pretty much murdered his father and then personally "raised" him further screwing up his mind forever turning him bitter and into a tyrant? Yeah I see the resemblance alright.

Lol yeah, another console with less than half the install base of the superior one would have yielded a significant amount more sales from April to September like 800,000 units. 500,000? 200,000? Or 120,000 units, yeah that sounds about right. The new characters are fine too.

Everything else you said is definitely why it failed though.

You should probably tell some people with Xbones to go buy it then because sadly they clearly haven't just like Sunset Overdrive 2 years ago. And by now the "low install base" excuse doesn't work even more.

Well they should have dropped off. I never touched this game in any shape or form like I'm sure a lot of people. Once that high price was announced earlier on in the year I instantly wasn't interested. I didn't even get The Witcher 3 at launch and still had problems with glitches when I finally got it in June this year.
If NMS ever gets some good updates and drops below 20 quid physically with the updates included on disc I may get it at some point.

@trouble_bubble Wrong about that one, Quantum Break is already out, Xbone's The Order 1886 i.e. a game with an okay story but is very linear in its design and ultimately disappointed a lot of people.
The only difference is The Order was absolutely stunning looking and wasn't compromised by the console it was released on yet again like just about every single Xbone game so far. Also the disappointment of The Order could be gauged a year before launch, people just like to prete...
