They have done more than try they have succeeded, the graphics in this game are incredible, downplay it all you want but this game is graphically head and shoulders over anything else available on console.
I'll take the graphics solid framerate and a great racing experience ever...

True Good-Smurf, Evolutions Motorstorm had a small selection of vehicles but it was one of my most played games on the PS3, in fact my mate played Motorstorm and went and bought a PS3 because of it lol.

But agreed the graphics are incredible.
A graphical feast that for me will make the game far more real and believable, If Evolution Studios delivers the gameplay of motorstorm with those stunning graphics, I'll be a very happy racer indeed.
LOL they were being a little optomistic it seems with the cones and yellow tape, to have not one person standing there is a little embarrassing.
So the xone isn't selling in Japan hardly surprising, anyone who thought it would do otherwise are simply deluding themselves.
The Japanese are going to love VR and these sort of games will definitely interest them, VR is set to revolutionise gaming.
Sales do matter, developers will almost certainly be making the PS4 the lead platform and 3rd party games may not even make it to xone if sales don't pick up, if nothing else it's going to make it a lot more expensive for MS to pay for exclusivity

I think that is a fair assesment, the game is built around a very believable story, you find yourself growing with the characters what happens to them matters and you want to be part of their survival.
This game was one of the few games where looking for stuff (bullets etc) felt more a matter of survival than an irritating chore, as a game it has redefined how important a story is in creating a great all round experience
I think if you get to try it you might change your mind on that Matt666, having said that I haven't tried it either but I can't imagine a bigger step for gaming.
Morpheus would take this game to a whole different level, I would be surprised if thats not incorporated for Gran Turismo 7, in fact I'm sure I read somewhere that it was happening.
When even the biased Vgchartz (can't even accept official Sony numbers) has the PS4 leading 3:1 you know PS4 domination is real.
Animal Mutha 76 : I agree I don't think X1 could run this at 1080p as it stands.
Or more significantly a solid 30fps if your honest.
On a different point, we both seem to have great memories of the Amiga, Shadow of the beast coming to the PS4 must be worth a mention, I remember it all too well, for sheer nostalgia I will be picking that one up
