This to me is the big difference between Sony and MS, Sony by nature allow freedom of expression which is why they command such a varied library of games,
MS you feel by their nature try and control everything and gaming development suffers.
For a system you claim to have no games that is mighty impressive.
Anyone who knows the Playstation knows games were never going to be an issue, this is just the start.

Seeing the vast improvements they have made to the game it was absolutely the right decision,

in fact Project Cars has announced it already supports Morpheus
This will become a familiar tale, the only way to really understand VR is to try it for yourself.
I have not been that lucky yet but if it's only half as absorbing as I imagine, it really will usher in a new Immersive era of gaming
It's a shame MS weren't listening to all the feedback they were getting about DRM etc, they chose to ignore gamers and it came back to bite them.

I expect sales of the game to be great but I don't know anyone who has been waiting to buy a new console to play Destiny.
I came across two people who have done just that and I was on a football forum at the time lol

Who knows which way it will go, it certainly has potential and offers a really unique playing experience.
This is not the VR of old the tech has come a long way since then, If I were a betting man I would bet on it succeeding, one things for sure righting it off at this moment in time is being very short sighted.

Sorry Septic don't agree, As a business it would have made no sense for Sony to continue with free online, MS showed people were willing to pay and it was impossible for Sony compete.
MS introduced the model and yes it did force Sony to follow, I doubt we would be paying for online had it not been for MS.

I really wasn't happy about having to pay for online, but I came to realise MS and the people who supported it on the 360 were to blame, Sony really was left with little choice,
360 owners claiming their system was better because they paid for it ( I didn't agree) but that was their claim, now that has gone the money Sony are making will enable them to do all sorts of things and the games they give away with PS+ has softened the blow.

Eonjay is correct this isn't a news story, if a game had charted that would have been a news story, the Japanese were never going to be interested in the xone, it's not patricularly selling well anywhere, so Japan is hardly surprising.
I'm not even sure why MS launched it there.
It's called variety All-consoles, not everyone will enjoy a shooter not everyone will enjoy racing etc, my daughters favourite game was Heavy Rain she has played it through numerous times as have I.
Enjoy the games you like and leave others to enjoy the games they want, at least with Sony you know they are always ready to try different things, not every game has to be a shooter.
Enemy I know what your saying, I hadn't heard of this game either, PS4 owners have a lot to look forward to.
My daughters have enjoyed the Sims for years and were all geared up for the next installment, but even they are passing on this game, something is definitely wrong with this game.

What sets this game apart for me is the Morpheus support, that has my interest as a PS4 owner.
VR could make this a very unique experience for PC and PS4 owners.
