I didn't say the PS4 couldn't be improved (it obviously can) I questioned the word desperate (hence the question mark) that makes it sound like the PS4 is unusable without these things being done, if that were true we would not be seeing record sales.
As I said desirable would be more appropriate.

it's not like its struggling to sell, the PS4 is breaking all sorts of sales records so it is hardly desperate, more desirable I would say.
Looking forward to this game, if it can live up to it's potential then gamers are in for a real treat.

Project cars supports Morpheus ( even though Morpheus is yet to release ) which has me interested in this game
Driveclub is filling my driving needs for now though.
Of course he hasn't played it, the same is true of almost all the people who comment negatively about the game, they like to pretend it's a simple arcade game but it's far more sim than arcade.
As you said later levels are a real challenge I managed level 33 and the sense of speed and handling of the later cars is amazing, haters will hate but as I said those that have the game love it.

The people actually playing this game are loving it, if you want your driving skills tested this game will do that.
As I have said before if you want spoon fed victories go somewhere else.
Because Driveclub concentrates on the background more than any racing game this gen, graphically it is in a different league that is where the horse power is being used.
cutting back on the graphics this game could do 60fps but they chose a different route, one I'm more than happy with.
TLOU may be a last gen remake but you wanted a PS4 exclusive game that hits 1080p and 60fps I gave you an example.

TLOU remastered is 1080p/60 along with numerous third party games.
Racing games are the easiest to do 1080p on as it is the background that moves (giving the illusion of movement) not the car and as we know the background in forza was severely downgraded to achieve what it did so not a great example.
Foehammer despite your attempt to downplay Driveclub, it is a simple fact that with the PS4 being the more powerful device, a game like forza could be done very easily on the PS4
Unfortunately the xone could not do Driveclub without major downgrades.

If your console of choice dominates sales then the future of said console is guaranteed, not just in support but also software developement.
No developer will look at the PS4 numbers and ignore them, the PS4 will be their lead platform, the software will make the most of the PS4 and ultimately if sales continue exclusivety would be a serious consideration.
As a PS4 gamer big sales is indeed good news.
It is hard to believe some people actually considered Pachter could be right, anyone with half a brain knew this month would be massive for the PS4 and that is how it's been proven.
The PS4 has massive momentum and doesn't look like slowing down.

The conspiracy theorists will always try and make more of things than is really the case, the server issues are real if some people want to imagine that was intentional by Sony then you probably believe the moon landings were fake too and there will be no changing your mind.
I have no doubt though that there are a lot of people who have been eager to play this game and picked it up because they didn't want to wait for the PS+ version to become available.
I have got the game you know Volkama, I'm well aware of how it plays and have done my fair share of bumping but this is not Motorstorm (which I loved) no matter how you try to paint it.
Sorry Volkama you must be playing something else because that certainly isn't my experience (apart from the ai always giving you a chance of victory) but you won't get far smacking into corners or cars (most the time)
I have played it online and it is fun and frenetic you certainly earn your stripes online lol

I can look past that as long as the actors do their part and put in a convincing performance, the last thing I would want is people who look the part but can't act for toffee turning the film into some poor B movie.

I think it is fair to say if your not very good at driving games you will struggle in this game, it certainly tests you as a driver.
If you want easy wins go somewhere else.
I think gamers understood what MS and the xone stood for very well and were not interested in supporting MS or the stupid policies they deemed acceptable.
Yes they have done enough 180's to make peoples head spin but it was poor pre orders that forced the change, If MS had listened to what gamers were saying long before the xone launch, the xone may be doing a little better.
