Unfortunately for all the wrong reasons, it was the only real announcement MS made other than that there was nothing new or surprising.
The fact that a timed exclusive (probably) made their whole show only highlights how weak their performance was.
Uncharted will do me just fine.
@Tedakin
No one has ever said it's TIMED. You guys should wait for official confirmation of that before repeating it over and over again.
I think everyone understands how MS works now, it would be more of a surprise if it wasn't timed, especially with their careful wording.
Other than that they really didn't announce much..
Edit: marlinfan10
everything thats been said so far is that its completely exclusive, even t...
WOW, This is a game that really caught my eye and was one of the highlights of E3, to be exclusive to the PS4 console is quite a coup.
Just one more reason (of many) to buy a PS4
For those that have been living under a rock https://www.youtube.com/wat...
mrpsychoticstalker : New IP from Microsoft as well.
LMAO, how insecure do you sound.
The last of us was perfect for a remaster, a game of the year on the PS3 missed by many including 360 owners bought out remastered on a next gen system giving those who missed it a chance of playing an amazing game.
The fact it has sold so well seems to suggests it was welcomed by PS4 gamers.
EA and MS deserve each other
Well if anyone is going to push the PS4 these are the guys to do it, Sony have some talented studios but Naughty Dog are something special.
Well as far as hardware tech and innovation I would trust Sony to bring together the best of whats available, they have some of the best hardware engineers in the business it's what they do.
Spot on Lord Maim, MS wouldn't let things like poor internet get in the way of their greed they wanted control of gaming and gamers flipped them the finger, giving MS the same answer MS gave to the troops.
The Pope prefers to live in denial and call it anti consumer crap, but fails to mention it wasn't wanted or needed as has been shown because guess what people can still go digital or buy a hard copy it's called choice something MS wanted to take away, luckily mo...
Well said zeuanimals, some people can't cope with the truth Bigpappy it seems is one such person, his answer has fanboy written all over it although his puberty comment made me laugh lol.
Well This is great stuff by Sony bringing gaming to the troops.
MS didn't seem to care

SaveFerris you mention two games that are listed as xbox exclusive but can anyone hand on heart say they won't be coming to PC?
MS don't even own the IP so there is every possibility they could even be heading for the PS4 if not the original any sequels would certainly have to be considered for the PS4 with the way it is dominating sales.
Bigpappy why can't it be both? If your selling a game as exclusive and it turns out not to be that is not good, doesn't matter how crap the game might be
Exclusives are the main reason people would choose one console over another as it is the xone doesn't have that many and what they have seem to be heading for the PC anyway, suggesting a PS4 and PC is a good combo for gamers or as others have said WiiU.
Seriously why bother with the xone?
Sorry dcbronco this is MS we are talking about their roots are not in gaming but spreadsheets and operating systems, you only have to look at the people they have put in charge and the stupid decisions they have made to see that, Spencer is probably one of the few gamers they have Arron Greenberg certainly isn't
I'm sorry but they are not people I would listen to about gaming.
Yes I'm sure I would trust the guys in suits who have probably never played a game in their lives to tell me how fun it is.
Still as has been pointed out they are just doing their job, but seriously what else are they going to say?
This is why sales matter, a larger install base of machines will at the very least mean it is the development platform of choice and with the PS4 looking to become the dominant platform this gen it would make perfect sense for developers to focus their effort increasingly in that direction, from there the possibility of exclusivity isn't that big a leap to make.
A game every gamer deserves to play, your missing out if you don't
If MS don't own the IP then it will always be a distinct possibility for any game, It would make sense for any publisher to want their game out on the strongest selling platform and at this moment that is definitely the PS4 by some distance.
No contest for me No mans Sky has my attention, Never really played Tomb Raider and If i'm interested Uncharted will fill that niche much better
To me No mans Sky is something new and refreshing and offers so much more potential
