The PS3`s lineup is absolutely STAGGERING. I`m already having to sift through the list and figure out which games I`m going to have to wait for a price drop on, or possibly not even get at all. I`m going to have to set aside a lot of money to get the most out of my PS3 for the coming years.
That list just reinforced the PS3 lineup as far as I`m concerned. As it stands, there are like 2 or 3 upcoming games for the 360 worth mentioning, while there are 10+ (and growing at an alarming rate) on the PS3 worth mentioning. You should just stick to sales talk, because the 360 is losing the exclusive battle.
How predictable. Reach comes out, boosts console sales, and the trolls emerge. I could have called that a mile away.
That would really suck if LBP2 got pushed back. To be honest, that would make the PS3`s lineup fairly weak this winter, hopefully Sony realizes LBP2 could have a pretty big impact during the holidays. They really shouldn`t cram all of their games into 2011, I`m already having to decide which ones to pass on next year because there are so damn many.
Keep in mind, Jaffe has never been about focusing on having a deep artistic value. There are a couple old documentaries and interviews scattered about where he says he always wanted to get that hollywood, action, blocbuster feel of a movie into a game, that`s always been his focus as I remember. Now, I`m sure he still appreciates art in games, his GOTY last year was Flower.
I don`t see how any one platform could be considered the "core" of the industry. Wouldn`t it be more accurate to say that as a whole, all platforms together make up the core?
Microsoft is sure running their mouths a lot nowadays. Good luck dominating a region where your voice can barely even be heard.
I disagree, the 360 slim didn`t even have the fraction of an impact the PS3 slim did.

That`s just how it is, reviewers will review games and say whatever they want about them. I`m personally not to fond of whiny journalists myself, but whatever, they annoy everybody. I`m sorry Jaffe, but once you put your game out there, your hands are tied.

Nope. There are quite a few Wii games I would still like to purchase. I think having them both is great.
Killzone 2 is still the best looking shooter on consoles, no comparison needed.
The thing is, many 360 owners are perfectly content with playing shooter after shooter after shooter, I for one, am not. I demand variety with my games, hence why I am also an owner of a Wii and especially a PS3.
65 bucks huh? I would say that`s too much, but then I just remembered I dropped several hundred dollars on books for my classes a couple weeks ago, so 65 bucks is nothing for this incredible book for God of War fans.
Not ready, don`t care about upgraded hardware, need more games. I need another 3-4 strong years out of these consoles before I even consider moving on.
I mean, are we really just going to drop these consoles even though the amount of games released pale in comparison to generations previous? No thanks. If they release new consoles before 2012, I will have to politely decline.
