It really just depends what games you want to play. I usually don`t like comparing an open platform (PC) to a closed platform (PS3).
Ahhh, the fresh smell of PS3 hate is in the air. What bogus article have the hit seeking sites come up with now?
"The lack of self-awareness here is sickening."
What`s even more sickening, is your absurdly unreasonable outlook towards this entire thing. It`s a video that`s supposed to be humorous, funny and lighthearted, yet you have to stomp your little feet and ruin everybody else`s fun just because you didn`t find it funny.
Grow up.
Lol.
This is awesome. Easily the best Playstation commercial parody I`ve ever seen.
Basically, super popular. Everybody plays it, everybody likes it, and Halo.
Remember back in the day when people called gaming "Nintendo?" It didn`t even matter what system you would game on, may people just said "hey lets play Nintendo" Well, that`s how it`s like in America a lot of the time. People here call gaming "Xbox." The 360 has shoved it`s face into the semi-hardcore gamer market (COD, Halo, Gears players, etc.) and it`s all people can see. Xbox ...
I`m not going to lie, the 360`s lock on America is nothing short of impressive. Sony has been doing pretty good, but they need to do something else, and I have no idea what. Meanwhile, the 360 is basically a cultural phenomenon, don`t deny it.
Luckily for the PS3, the rest of the world keeps things pretty even, if not favoring the PS3, actually. But damn, Sony needs a breakthrough in America.
Yeah, you should put the money towards Microsoft`s mandatory online fees.
Of course the sales matter. Move was unproven, we were all a bit unsure how it would do.
Yeah, having 2-in-1 is a selling point for sure, but I still doubt many people are buying PS3s for mainly Blu-Ray. I think nowadays the PS3 having Blu-Ray is more of a bonus where as a few years ago it was an incentive.
I could see how Blu-Ray was a selling point when it first launched, but nowadays you can pick up a Blu-Ray player for dirt cheap. I`d say that most people buying PS3s nowadays are looking to play some games.
Edit: If you disagree, please, let me know why you think otherwise.
"God of War 3 promised to be the most epic game of all time."
Stopped reading right there. Nothing like a flat-out lie to begin a rant, huh?
People already do this by the masses. Any time you buy a 360 game with multiplayer, you are only buying part of the game, the rest can only be accessed by paying fees.
I bet it is, it must add quite a bit of extra balancing requirements. Lots of games nail it though, so I expect the same from GG.
Meh, not even going to read it. Move has already been a success to a certain extent.
I`m most happy that they`re mixing up the environments. I loved Killzone 2, but I thought the industrial level design got a little stale after a while.
What would economics have to do with it? It`s all about business practices.
Yeah, I can`t wait to play through ICO again remastered with trophies. I only played through ICO once, like almost a decade ago when I rented it from Blockbuster, and I haven`t touched it since. I will be in heaven once I`m playing ICO again.
I found ICO to be more unique than any Zelda game. Whether or not it`s better is up to you.
I`d to hear Molyneux`s opinion on the last guardian. Before Fable 2 came out he was raving on about the dog and how it would be the smartest thing ever in a video game, turns out the dog didn`t even really do anything aside from bark at treasure. I want to hear what he has to say about the beast Trico, because that looks to change everything we know about AI.
OT: ICO is undoubtedly one of the best games ever made, I`m not surprised Molyneux is inspired by it. With such a wild...
And I would trade all of my computer`s gaming capabilities for the PS3`s 2011 lineup. Funny how that works out, lol.
