"The ps3 is catching up fast?"
Actually, yes. In case you didn`t realize, the gap went from 8 million to 3.6 million in less than a year. This quarter the 360 saw a re-design and a major Halo release and it showed in the sales. However, the % increase from those two has already died out, the numbers are out there.
The 360 and PS3 both have major releases coming up: GT5 and Kinect, they should each see nice boosts from those.
I can`...
Well, I sure somebody out there will. People lose their sense of humanity on BF. You know it`s a sad day when saving 50 bucks on a piece of electronics out-weighs trampling a poor Walmart greeter to a slow agonizing death. It`s shameful, really.
Your friend is lucky, very lucky. Many women on black Friday won`t hesitate for a second, they will beat you down with their purse/ handbag if they see something they want. Two years ago I witnessed a crazy woman beat a man over the head with her purse which was stashed full of soon to be stolen CDs. She was taken away in cuffs and the man even drew a little blood. That was the first time I have ever been embarrassed to be human.
Last year I stayed up until midnight and picke...
Yeah, that makes sense. PSN is all access out of the box. No pay-to-play, no hidden fees, no "auto renewal" BS. Nope, it`s just simple, streamlined and free. It makes sense that PS3 owners are the most connected.
Everybody knows Uncharted 3 is in development. You really think Naughty Dog isn`t going to do a follow-up to GOTY 2009, the most highly awarded game of all time, and one of the best games ever made?
That video scares me. An audience full of 40 year old women at Oprah screaming over Kinect.
Goodbye XBOX gaming as we knew it. I think this video demonstrates the future of the 360 perfectly.
PS3 is set to be the only hardcore console on the market here pretty soon.
"Incredibly, inexcusably glitchy" = 4/5?
Seriously, could there be a bigger downfall? How could a game receive a 4/5 with inexcusable glitches? They should either change the score, or change the wording, because that doesn`t add up at all.
Greenburg tends to rub off on 360 fanboys, I`ve noticed.
No, a 7 is not bad at all. However, with weak "cons" such as linear gameplay, and unoriginal story, I have to question where the minus points came from because those are not legitimate cons for a $15 downloadable title.
They didn`t even mention co-op play, and they don`t even have co-op play listed on the right side under game info.
It`s just a lame review which is why I`ll wait to see what others have to say.
Uhhh, is there even a release date yet?
7/10? That`s too bad, it looks way better than that. I guess I`ll wait for more reviews.
"Be warned: “launch portfolio” doesn’t mean “day one”. Expect clarification on this soon."
I`d like to know the timeframe Microsoft considers a "launch." A week? A month? A year? I`m sorry Microsoft, but unless the consumers get to play the game the day Kinect comes out, it`s not a launch game. You don`t get to make up your own definitions.
I say let Sony do what ever they want to do to be successful. If I were making the decisions, I would release GT5 after Kinect as well. There is no point in trying to compete with Micrsoft`s barbaric marketing techniques. I would let Microsoft rush out the gates as usual, pound their chest, claim dominance, and then release GT5 at the right moment. What`s the rush?
The fact that it`s a PS3 exclusive is the only reason I`ve been interested in it, seeing what they can do focusing on one type of hardware. If it goes multi though, I`m going to have to automatically dismiss it, there are just far too many games coming out next year for me to waste my time with another boring-ass Final Fantasy multi-plat.
I`m pretty sure the PS2 has the most games of any console, I could be wrong though, maybe it is the Atari 2600. The PS2 has over 2,400 games last I checked, and I don`t think any other system matches that.
I`m surprised to see the PS3 is still ahead by over 500,000 units over the 360 this year considering the 360 had the slim and Reach. Of course, we can`t be sure how accurate these numbers are.
There are just too many to choose, after all, PS2 does have the biggest library of games of any console ever made, by far.
Seacrest and Bieber? Brilliant marketing, but the hardcore 360 players should be trembling, because it looks like exclusives are at the bottom of Micosoft`s list right now, and paying Bieber is at the top.
Dark, gritty, cold looking environments add so much to the atmosphere in my opinion, especially FPS games. Resistance 2 was too colorful, I`m glad the grey is back. I can get my color fix in games like LBP just fine.
Man, Resistance 3 is looking real good.
That would be fantastic for Sony, because I understand that they make pretty good profits off of each Move sold.
