What in the #$%#? That was fast.
This is really badly written satire.
Hah! I was just about to write that. When I saw his appearance at the event back in February, I thought he was a bit of a goofball. Since then I've come to like the guy. He's pretty cool as far as upper management goes. Fluent Japanese pretty much rounds off his coolness.
@Count. That's great. You still haven't defined and justified a conception of objectification, and shown that Quiet is an instance of objectification. Nor have you shown that objectification, whatever that is, is bad.
"Should"? By what standard?
Please explain and justify the concept "objectification" for us all.
Both, potentially. It also improves a little something else called ENJOYMENT of a game. You know - that thing we aren't supposed to have?
You just NAILED it. Beautiful! It's so refreshing to see someone who understands.
One of the most interesting facts about America is that way in which the evangelistic, domineering, and charismatic psychological traits of 18th and 19th century American Christianity have become secularized in the progressive movement. The progressives want what the Christians want at the turn of the 19th century, but without insistence on God. Progressivism even began as a Christian movem...
The reason is simple: among the "intellectuals", it is a grab for power; among the "followers", i.e. the many, it is shame and guilt instilled through social engineering and education. It really is THAT simple. Once you realize the truth, perhaps by engaging in long and serious one-to-one conversation with feminists, you will stop lending any credence to their movement.
Attacks on women ARE serious, but they are serious NOT because they are women, but bec...
Quiet's character model is neither sexist nor misogynistic. Neither are Kojima's words. Every charge leveled against them - they are tasteless, exploitative, excessive, needless, etc - is utterly subjective.
Here's a suggestion. Consider a world in which people pursue their life in accord with their own values. A world in which they do as they please, not harming others. A world in which some don't claim the authority to tell others what to do.
FFVII remake on PS4?
Hell's yeah! Rain down some 64 player airborne death on dino bastards! That would be the best multiplayer experience ever!
You anticipated me like Isaiah anticipated the End Times.
No...wait...That's wrong...
You make a good case, I'll give you that.
Me - I'm withholding judgment until all the tech data is out in the open and studied in practice. I'll buy a PS4 rather than XBOX, but not based on these hardware rumors.
Your mistake is using hardcore gamers. The average consumer wants value for money. In that simple sense, the PS4 is a better investment than the XBOX. This is true whether they self-identify as hardcore or not.
I just checked out the Dead Rising 3 gameplay video for the first time, to check your argument. I'm surprised people are holding this up as an example of the XBOX One's power. The Last of Us looks better than it does. Hell, Assassin's Creed 4 looks way better than it does. It certainly doesn't compare to Killzone or Watch Dogs. And as for the environment, Destiny, BF4, and The Division make a mockery of it.
Or, you know, you and your company could stop being arrogant assholes and simply tell us all what your console does.
This is very sad. A genius like Kojima suffering backlash from ignorant feminazis over a bit of skin. And as so many people have pointed out in comments to these stories, complaints about this sort of thing dilute opposition to real cases of sexism.
Pathetic. Kojima and Quiet have my support.
Yeah, I dled the free version already. But I've got other things to spend $40 on. Like rent.
They need to fire upper management at that company and bring in new people who know what they're talking about.
