I don't understand it either. And I don't see how the screenshot confirms that they were even at the same location. The building and part of the background look similar, but (a) the background on the right seems to have a further series of mountains behind the mushrooms and (b) there's no name of the location on the left to confirm these are the same. Are there in-game coordinates that prove they're in the same location?
