Same here. Oh well. Guess I'll have to wait to the PS4 is back in stock...
Yoshida for the MFing win!!!!!!!!!!!!
Greatness awaits indeed!
Well said.
Sony makes it impossible not to love them! They have returned to form with the PS4! You just can't beat this advertising campaigne!
Greatness awaits!
The same thing was literally said 10 years ago leading up to the 360/PS3. It didn't pan out with the advent of that generation, and if it pans out during the current generation it will not be because of the X1 - it will be because of a market-driven development across devices (TVs, set-top boxes I would imagine). And to be perfectly honest, if X1 motivates a market shift toward integrated services of this sort, which I doubt, Song will very quickly move to do the same thing, either by upd...
My response to this is the same as it was originally, when X1 was revealed. X1 seems to provide a convenient integrated service for those who (a) want it and (b) have the opportunity to enjoy it.
(a) Many people don't want the service. I, for my part, don't watch TV, and don't care about an "integrated" living room. If I want to Skype with someone I’ll just switch my TV to my computer, which is hooked up to it (and besides, I don’t use Skype, because Go...
There's conflicting reports on this, and reading the comments isn't helping. Can anyone CONFIRM whether this is now a GT ban or just a console ban? And is it temporary or permanent? Please, just facts, not anti-MS rhetoric.
"Shark" indeed...
I can honestly say that I won't be buying the next GTA until it's available used or at a massive discount. IV soured me, but I thought this one would correct that. It hasn't. It's just expensive and fashionable satire, with a couple of laughs thrown in, some open world freedom marred by dodgy controls, and a vapid story and online experience. I've got better things to spend my money on.
The operative word in the title is "judge." Fanboys expressing their hate for either side aren't judging - they're expressing. I excepted journalists, because journalists typically have sensationalized or marketable opinions, rather than honest judgments. Not all journalists mind you, but a lot of them.
All that said, it was a deliberately off hand, provocative comment I made.
I'm quite sure no one is, game journalists excepted.
You didn't "offend" me. As an aside, I don't understand why so many people think disagreement implies offense.
But I didn't realize you were restricting yourself to a particular group of companies. If that's the case, then you may or may not be right - I just don't know enough about the practices of the large game companies to know whether I agree with that.
So I simply interpreted your as overgeneralizing. If that's not th...
I disagree. Money is a factor in any production - the producer creates the product and trades it for money. However, it is not the only factor often, nor is it always the primary factor. I do not work the job I do primarily for money, for instance.
In the case of the games industry, there are many games that are not made primarily for money. They might be made because the developer has a passion for a particular story and wants to share that with an audience. In that respect,...
I did. Him and his band signed my FFVII game manual. He is humble, funny, and inspirational :)
Enjoy your day friends! I wish you all happiness and fun when you receive your copy. I'll see you all online as soon as then next batch of PS4s go on sale!
It's coming. Just wait a few weeks. Then we can all laugh some more at human ineptitude.
HAHA! This is one of the funniest comments I've read all day. I tip my cap sir!
Whatever.
Don't mind if I do.
Money.
(Let's see how many of us can state the obvious)
Agreed. They said Day 1. It's all being done by the same studio that did the 360 version. Wonder if they've got to keep quiet due to a contract with MS, cause we haven't heard much about the PS3 version either.
