Everyone, spread the word that PS4 gamers nationwide will #ToastCerny and the other designers at midnight Nov 14/15. If we can capture it on film wherever there's a midnight launch that'd be great.
THAT is a good idea. In fact, I hereby suggest that those of you attending midnight launches for the PS4 take a moment to toast him on camera. Even if you just raise your hand and say thank you, record it on a smart phone, and post it on the twitter or fb or youtubes. That would be really meaningful and I bet he'd appreciate it. We could make this a national thing.
The MS fanboys are out in force tonight. So many dislikes for a guy who is genuine, gamer-friendly, and has done undeniably great things not only for the PS4 but for the gaming community in general. Respect for Mark isn't a partisan matter.
Yoshida is the best in the business. I love how hands on this guy is. He doesn't have his peons dish out BS, but gets up to the plate and gives a 1-2 punch himself!
I actually SAW my first PS4 today in Gamestop while picking up a Dualshock 4. It was GLORIOUS! A bit longer than I'd expected, which spells trouble for my entertainment unit setup, but I'll live.
Agreed. That said, steam is a service that caters to an audience that necessarily has an internet connection (insofar as it can only be accessed via the internet). So conditions are such that PC gamers with an internet connection are amenable to steam.
The same isn't the case with console gamers. There is still a sizable percentage of the population in America that plays without an internet connection (e.g. because they live in a dial-up only region). Such gamers would no...

Every gamer should raise a toast to this man on November 15th.
Good job, Sony. Good job.

Just bought a Dualshock 4 :) So nice! No PS4 to go with it though...
Yup. You nailed it. But surprise surprise - game journalists know nothing about economics.
Well said.
February?
