Inferior GPU with a great CPU that's hard to program for. Remember the PSX? Technically Saturn was better but most games looked better on Sony's machine. Why? Ease of use. Games shouldn't take 3, 4 or 5 years to develop. At the end of the day, it's all about the bucks.
Before replying read on PSX (PS1) vs Saturn. No one was blaming the programmers. Sony made it really easy to create Toshinden, Wipeout, R. Racer, etc.
Yes, the PS3 has a great CPU. However,360's GPU is more advanced (not debatable). Do the research.
If it has lower res and FPS, it is worse. Period. That's why some spend $700 on a graphics card.
The video cutscenes in GoW2 looked worse than the in-game. It was low resolution. Great game.

The point of exclusives is atract customers that are undecided. In America people choose 360 for games like CoD. So this emphasis on exclusives is misguided. Sure, KZ3 is exclusive but not as many people want to play it (vs Halo). It's not a system seller. I bet 360 still sells better in Feb. People want to play CoD on Xbox live. That's the bottom line.
PS3 games take longer to develop. They lead on ps3 when they can so it's not inferior. But expect lower resolution and FPS.
Another game that will end up being better on 360. Haven't we heard this before? Medal of Honor? Sports games? I own 360, PS3 and a gtx powered PC. GTX>360>PS3 on graphics with very few exceptions (uncharted). If 100 games look better on 360 and five exclusives look better on PS3, 360 wins. Better GPU (both 2005 technology). And I'm not talking about system realease date. The technology in the GPUs is old. A $100 AMD or NVidia card performs much better.

Even if KZ is a better game, GoW releases closer to the holidays. Expect big marketing etc. Feb/Mar eleases are games that couldn't make it against CoDs etc. and want to benefit from higher console install base (after the holidays).

It's simple. 90% of games will look better on 360. The exceptions are those that incorporate well the PS3 CPU (not many). It takes too much time and economical resources. Similar to PS1 vs Saturn (technically a superior system).

Does anyone know? I loved GoW2 (better than Halo 3 and KZ2) but the video clips were badly compressed. Gamplay looked HD. Videos not so much. Any words?
Last time I checked 360 had the best FPS. According to reviews, KZ3 is not the masterpiece most thought it would be. And yes, KZ2 (like ODST to be fair) was overrated (traded in my copy).

On paper, Saturn was better. In reality, only a few games looked better than what PS1 had. By the way, Crysis 1 looked amazing but KZ2 was a better game (I own both). I don't think KZ was better than Halo or Gears in general, but it was definitely a great game. We'll see about KZ3; reviews were good, not great.
They don't know what they talk about. The 360 GPU is better and it's 2005 technology. Most ps3 and 360 games are sub hd. Any new system would be truly 1080p, not to mention frame rates, particles, etc. They probably think PS1 was better than Dreamcast. I don't know why I even bother.
