Just when I start to like Sony (again) Jack comes up with another aqrrogant statement. Get a Clue: no one is paying $600 for a console. No; no one is buying a system without games, even if it is a PS3. And we don't mean 2 or three good games. Being humble and eventually winning beats being arrogant and getting a beating.
Say what you want but MGS, Halo, GoW, the other GoW, and many of these franchises are over-rated. You know it's true. As a matter of fact, MGS on the PS2 wasn't that great. Neither was DMC. It's all about opinion but, for 2 years all we've seen are trailers. I hope it's not another "play ten minutes" story for twenty minutes kinda game.
When I read SONY fanboys talk about how Microsoft is losing money, I must wonder: how many of the 11.6 million xbox owners actually care if MS loses 1 bill dollars. RPGs are eaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasy to port. I do think this series is over-rated. Seriously, how many games can they make before magazines realize that it's more of the same. I'll review the game befor it comes out: Best RPG out there (9.5)/ Some wont like the... but overall it's still the best (10), blah blah blah (5 out of 5). Same goes for HALO, MGS and any Mario game. The point is that SONY (not MS) was the king of the hill in Japan. This made chosing the PS2 an easy task for developers. But with the Wii outselling the PS3 in Japan by such a margin, the 360 outselling the PS3 in the US and in total global sales, chosing the PS3 over the other consoles is not logical. I own a 360 which currently has the best looking and most fun games; Period! However, $399 is relatively cheap (cheaper than an IPhone). I think I would get one, for Blu-Ray (already own HD DVD). About achievements; what would really rock (and will never happen) is universal acheivements (for all platforms). I don't really think this is a AAA title. It may look good, but I doubt this will rank high against other PS3 and 260 titles. The hype machine is on!

I own a 360. Right now it has the best looking games, period. But why complain if the PS3 gets their GoW? Aren't we getting MGS4 down the line? Simple; drop the price and say it's temporary. They just want to stop the 2:1 ratio (against 360) by creating a crisis.
Epic doesn't need to release a third party shooter to compete with Halo. Also, development on 360 started waaay later, so bottom line: the game is not ready for 360. Expect it in 08.

Why do SONY fans come up with fake arguments? People being discouraged? Last time I checked it was 2:1, with 360 having sold almost 12 millions versus 3.6 on the Sony side. This 10 year concept is a way for them to justify losing to MS. I would be pissed if in 5 years MS doesn't como up with a better machine. This Blu-Ray games have very little compression. IF the first stage takes 2 gigs I guess it will be a short game. The whole Blu-Ray argument is a way for Sony to JUSTIFY asking you for $500.360 games still look better.
