Not really.. that would be GamePass Ultimate that is often referred to as the Netflix of games… And GamePass Ultimate is an exceptional value.
UBISoft+ will also eventually more than likely end up on PlayStation like the EA subscription service as well.

What you are saying is true although a price for the sub wasn't officially announced yet for Xbox. If MS really wanted to strike a deal to add a ton of games to GamePass Ultimate without increasing the sub price to try and get more subscribers... I'm sure a $2 Trillion dollar company could do that.
Will they? I doubt it. The purchase of Zenimax Entertainment added a lot of games and a lot of day 1 future game releases as well.
I don't think MS would care enough if a subscription service was available on a different console or platform. Now an exclusive deal to roll it into GamePass Ultimate would be completely different.
But at this time it doesn't sound like what this deal is.

They need to cut down the time had a lot of garbage filler. I'm not sure an open racer with pretty much no story to really draw you in or bring out emotion is really what they are looking for in a game of the year candidate. I just watch for the game reveals though deeply regretted it this year. I didn't think it was a good show. I don't care what games win what awards. It doesn't make me think of them any differently.
Everyone knew the sequel would be multiplat. MS held the rights for a long time and did nothing with them plus prevented Remedy from making a sequel. Of course, when Remedy got the rights back from MS this wouldn't be an exclusive game. I hope it holds up to the first one gameplay and story-wise.
Please tell me the inside knowledge you have on how games are selected for this category? I honestly don’t have a clue or what qualifies a game. If a 1 day release is all that is required I don’t see a problem. If rules were bent please supply a link with evidence.

Really good game I beat it on the Series X. Not perfect but it is definitely worth a play through if you like the dungeon crawler type games.
It still arrived and it isn't next-generation anymore it's the current generation because they are already released.
I still see the switch outsell the PS5 and Xbox Series S|X... So I would say Nintendo is doing just fine with the market they carved out.
Next Horizon should be better, because it will leave the Xbox one systems behind and focus only on Xbox Series X|S
Nintendo doesn't really have a problem. Their strategy is to make underpowered hardware in comparison to that of Sony and Microsoft and then they rely on their strong 1p games to sell the hardware. They aren't overly concerned with 3rd party games if they were they would make hardware more in-line with what MS and Sony put out. You won't get Zelda and Mario on any other system. Yes... It isn't canceled it is just remote/digital... The same way I always watch it. I have never attended an E3 in person so what is the problem with it being remote/digital this year? Only a small fraction of gamers/journalists get to attend E3 anyway. It is still the biggest gaming show of the year and I enjoy watching it for surprise announcements.
