It doesn't need a soft reboot... It needs a hard reboot under a different 1p studio. Especially if Microsoft acquires ABK. 343i failed and needs to work on a new ip.
343i did a poor job with the Halo Franchise. It's time for Halo to go through a fairly hard reboot with a different 1p studio especially if the ABK acquisition goes through. Move 343i onto a new IP that has nothing to do with Halo and see what they can come up with under their new leadership.

No. I always pick resolution mode when given the option so it doesn’t bother me at all.
Sony fans crap on game pass especially when roughly 4-8 games rotate out monthly… Sony fans awfully quiet when 32 games dropped from the PlayStation equivalent… including 1p Sony games…

I disagree with you here. A studio head that knows the franchise is passionate and has charismatic and leadership traits with a strong work ethic can make a huge difference. He came in and saved the single player portion of the game.

So if the market share between Sony and Microsoft flips as a result of this purchase. Is it then a monopoly? And if it is considered a monopoly why is it not considered one now? Why do Jim Ryan and Sony fans think Gaming Hell Freezes over if they aren't in the number #1 spot or dominating? Sony has plenty of a market share lead at this point and it will make things tighter and spur greater competition, even if that means Sony responds with a big purch...
Not sure if this was a console warrior comment... but this happens all the time. It's just a part of the gaming industry. If you don't see this happening at other development houses it's because you're not looking.

GTA would more than likely be handled like COD. I know COD would technically be under a 10-year contract that could be terminated after 10 years or renewed, but there would probably be some multiplatform contract deal for at least a concrete number of years like COD. If Sony were able to make it exclusive with no multiplatform window... My guess is the COD 10-year deal would end after 10 years guaranteed.

I just couldn't get into the gameplay flow for this game. Play an hour of the game than watch a 45 min TV segment. I think it could have been a lot better as just a game instead of an odd Game/TV Production mix.
Having a female character as the lead doesn't make a game "Woke". Other factors and game choices do. You have completely misread the "woke" situation. Female characters have been the lead in Games since at least the NES and probably even the Atari. So just because you have a female character doesn't mean the game is "woke".
Whoever said they would? All comments I've seen are saying hopefully the prices will go down as it now appears at least one other company can compete and maybe more. Everyone knows having a proprietary method is always going to end up being more expensive than off the self-components.
I couldn't stand the TV show in the middle of the gameplay. play an hour of the game and watch a 45-minute TV episode then get back into gaming. I couldn't connect with that style of play.

Naa... It more than likely will eventually be on Game Pass once the FCC stops their lawsuit as more and more Trade Commissions accept the deal. But I believe the acquisition was pushed out of its original time frame. Its now doubtful the deal will be completed by June.
