I think VR headset vs a smart phone is a terrible comparison personally. I would use a smart phone a lot more than a VR headset and it wouldn’t even be remotely close. I have oculus Rift 2 haven’t touched it in like 6 months. I’ll wait for a price drop and see how well it actually gets supported… Like AAA titles or shovelware.

I think this is one of the reasons they targeted such a huge acquisition target with Activision/Blizzard/King. If the deal ends up going through, I'm sure it will spark a huge interest in Game Pass again. The question is at the same time they are talking about raising the price of Game Pass which would surely affect how many people end up subscribing. Even if the merger goes through that price increase could hurt any added growth from the deal.

Having an additional cheaper option to play games isn't Anti-Consumer. Having an additional cheaper option at $300 would be Pro-Consumer. Forcing games to come out on a cheaper console also is still not Anti-Consumer. The biggest game this studio made is "I am Fish"... What a resume! Maybe they need better developers? If anything it makes the setting less accurate. Forced diversity doesn’t work for games that need to reflect a certain time period, culture and the race of the people living there during the time period the game takes place. Kind of works in Pentimate because it is completely fictional so it doesn’t need to portray real-world events.
