I'm sure it's the same kind of deal they had with Microsoft and GamePass. It's not like Square put them on the service for free forever. Sony paid Square an X amount of money for an X amount of time on the service. Not really looked at as a loss or gain it's just how the subscription services work for 3rd party games.
At the end of the day, I don't believe many people actually care nor do I believe many of the diablo fanbase wouldn't buy Diablo IV because of internal leadership and toxic work environments. If it's a good game it will still sell millions. I am just surprised they said it was delayed because I don't ever remember an actual announced release date, to begin with.
@Interloper
Sure... and someone would know that by reading your comment? I don't think so...
a steaming pile of crap... But let us face it Ultimate Gamepass is what they are pushing. Resources put towards GWG are fewer resources they can put forward to secure games for GamePass.
Pathetic console warrior both the PS5 and Xbox Series X run exactly the same... So it's laughable for the Series X, but for the PS5 it's the norm or completely acceptable? At least try not to be a complete and purchased fanboy.
Playstation by going non-proprietary offers a solution for a cheaper price fueled by multiple options from various companies. It isn't really arguable it's a more valuable option when it comes to the cost department.
Microsoft went with a much easier delivery plug-and-play system but at a higher cost. The ease of use is not debatable Xbox Series has a better delivery system with the plug and play system.
It's also not arguable that while Pla...
One of the problems MS made was only going with one manufacturer. They should have gone with multiple to allow a possible decrease in costs. Maybe in the future, they will expand to additional manufacturers in an attempt to decrease unit costs. MS Xbox went with simplicity and Sony Playstation went with better overall value.
Don't know enough about the VR space to really comment too much. I'm not overly interested in VR at this moment, but my daughters are. So we will probably end up with the PS5 VR setup at some point once it's released.
Are you so upset over an erroneous tweet for a game and company you don't care about? Sad. Look at the day a random Monday in October would make NO SENSE to release such news when they have 20th Xbox Anniversary in November and like Game Awards in December, Right?
They just released... Microsoft Flight Sim PC and Xbox), Psychonauts 2... Age of Empires 4 (28 October), Forza Horizon 5 (5th Nov), Halo Infinite (Dec)
Xbox game Studios has a very strong ...
Not a good comparison. If I am entering a PAYMENT method that can be used at any time... I would 100% do research into it and ensure it can be protected. If I have a child I would ensure payment protection would be followed. If I buy a bike it is a one-time transaction and my payment information is no longer relevant. If I am entering payment information that can be used not only for possible unauthorized Microtransaction purchases but also digital games/TV shows and movies... I would defi...
An IP being ignored? Did it even ever really get started? This was announced 2 Generations ago! It had ZERO demo's not even a CG intro. I'm guessing this never really left the drawing board.
Maybe they should educate themselves? Almost every game has some sort of micro transactions and they have to add payment method to a child’s account. If they don’t setup a payment method the children cannot buy micro transactions. They have to understand to some degree of what the payment system is for.
Maybe parents should setup payment verifications available on all systems?
To be fair… even physical copies need to be downloaded not sure if it’s really much of a scam… I suppose maybe if you bought the physical copy and didn’t have a connection to the internet or a capped connection I guess.
Honestly, it's a terribly written article... There are ZERO statements from the company itself or anyone connected with the company.
I think the Sega Genesis model should have been the 6-button model… for obvious reasons.
For all idiots comparing Naughty Dog... to the Initiative... Naughty Dog Studio Size is roughly 450 employees... The Initiative studio size is roughly 75 employees... The Initiative will have to continue to grow in size before they can make a AAA game in a timely manner by themselves. Naughty Dog had roughly 450 game developers and still outsourced workload to 14 companies to the project including 2,000 total programmers for The Last of Us 2... So of course as of right now the Initiative wil...
shhh... You're not allowed to report facts on this website. This is nothing unusual especially given the current size of the initiative... Outsourcing for AAA games happens all the time... The Gears Series use to have a lot of help from Splash Damage... Not sure if that will continue after Ten Cents purchase though.
@orbilator
Just FYI over 1-2 million purchased the game early to play early. There were two options for those million gamers $100 or 45 dollars. Then getting another additional 2-2.5 million additional gamers is huge either through GamePass subscriptions and purchases is huge and very successful day 1 sales.
You need to grow up… relax and become less of a console warrior… your post made you look dumb… sometimes it’s better to remain silent than to post an...
