@coolbeans... yeah, kind of does suck after all these years... Now they want to end used game sales...If you can't trade in games physical games lose some luster... after all if you can't trade them in for credit... Can you still sell them used legally anyway? Of course... That all hinges on this court case... and damn... after reading the article... they are going after anyone trying to sell used copies... Not just gamestop… Only benefit for physical media at that point would be it ...
Incorrect... Bethesda wants to end the used game market.
This is why n4g mesage boards are a joke to any serious gamer.... No one reads the articles and just posts out of bias... what a joke...
You clearly didn't read the article... at all did you? He was asked about... So he answered the question... You may not agree with his answer... But when ASKED a question... One usually tends to answer said question...
Thus, when asked how they felt about competition, Eidos Monreal’s lead writer and game director responded:
“This has been a great year for games,” Murray told COGconnected.
“Yea, exactly that. I’m not worried about Spider-Man,” Bisson ...
You can't really beat the game on easy mode... You can beat all the bosses, but it wont let you fight the devil until all the bosses were beat on hard mode... I know, because I tried.
@Zaherdab what are you smoking? State of Decay 2 was never considered a AAA title... Note the launch price... It wasn't a AAA title and never sold as one. You consider a $30 title a AAA title? now I question your judgement. Sea of Thieves had a weak launch, because of lack of content (all fetch quests) but all expansions are free and it is growing into a AAA title. It was the first big scale MMO they launched so I'm sure they learned a lot from it. Honestly don't care if you...
Pretty sure they didn't buy them off of this game... More like they liked the talent and potential they could bring to the table with the right staffing and game budget. I'm certain MS and Phil Spencer has more information than you when it came to vetting the potential of the company.
Why kill off a Billion dollar franchise... Seems like they are going for a refresh in this latest installment... Similar to the latest God of War title... If I was MS I'd keep making them as long as they keep them high quality as it appears Halo Infinite will be. With added studios it takes the pressure off the Halo team and allows for longer development cycles.
Fine stats... but these remind me of MS and there useless stats they trumpet from time to time... Not impressed. Users (not sales) playtime hours... etc... Like Sea of Thieves... 5 Million players... okay of those 5 million how many are sales... Like in this case 1.5 million (users) world wide... doesn't actually say a whole lot.
Here is an idea... spend that money on a tutor for school instead... That would be way more helpful to your child.
Okay… They still interest millions of other gamers though. But, thanks for sharing your opinion I'll file it under I don't give a crap.
Maybe announce another season is in the works, but nothing to currently show? Or that at the very least something KI related is being worked on and the KI franchise is still alive and kicking.
Why is this tagged in Xbox news?
Something like that would more likely be reviled at E3.
It will more than likely be the new Elite controller that was rumored to be unveiled at E3 and wasn't.
Maybe he... just doesn't like VR... Not everyone likes gaming with a helmet on their head... But, that doesn't mean Sony shouldn't support it for the fans who like it and want to see innovation occur within the VR space... No need to attack him...
I don't enjoy VR in its current form... But, why not there is bound to be innovation and PS5 will be strong enough to push more technologically advanced VR systems.
Keep in mind though... With the family of Next-gen Xboxes... the future games... Will also probably have to run on this current generation of Xbox consoles as well. So even though it's geared toward the next gen... This gen will probably also benefit.
@ subtenko
Why would X1 fans be salty? First off, PUBG is still doing well on Xbox and if Xbox fans don't like PUBG they can play fortnite… also H1Z1 is slated to come to Xbox One... So why would X fans be salty?
And why wouldn't you want cross play to open up online competition on games released across all 3 consoles... You really seem less like a gamer and more like a cheerleader... grow-up.
umm... yeah… because Bethesda has threatened not to release a game on the system without cross-play support?

That is an example of a small F2P game... That may not seem like much... But, what happens if they want a bigger release to play nice along all consoles with cross-plat play?
