MS Owns Obsidian... The only reason this game is releasing on PS4 is that there was already a publishing agreement with a different publisher... Everything post-Outer Worlds will be Xbox / Win 10 Exclusive... To include any sequels the Outer Worlds may have.
@TheRacingX Yes, it is 100% confirmed for the PS4, because a different company already had an agreement to publish the game kind of like Compulsion's "We Happy Few" was published by Gearbox and came out on PS4 as well... This will probably be the last Obsidian game that is multi-plat... Everything post-Outer Worlds will be Xbox / Win 10 exclusive.

Only the vast amount of trolls on N4G forum wish Xbox death... But with the purchase of 7 new gaming studios and more to come in the future... The future is looking bright... Love seeing 3 strong gaming companies Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo keep pushing each other to make better games... Healthy competition is a great thing.
Pretty ignorant statement to have... there are lots of fun achievements/trophies to be had playing online... I've never played through the single-player campaign in any COD... but had lots of fun playing online... Companies have to be sure to cater to all gamers when it comes to achievements/trophies... a good mix is never a bad thing...
@Sampsonon 3 Million... when compared to the 70ish million give or take PS4 sold... that isn't an overly great attach rate especially considering the deep cuts and deals they had last black Friday to push sales... Still nice to give the PS fans the option of VR though... But, I would agree as of now VR market is still niche... Maybe PSVR2 can change that.
Deals never really started on Thanksgiving until the last 5 years or so... all the big deals and doorbusters use to start on Friday early morning (the Friday after Thanksgiving)... But it's not really the case anymore... Heck MS has already started the sales on all their Xbox bundles and their Xbox Live game deals... It's black Friday.. because of "Black" ink or in business... Black ink means you're making money.

More? This isn't E3... If all that is true it'd be a pretty damn big show... The obsidian announcement probably won't happen as the deal isn't done from what I've been reading... I bet that would be more in-line with E3. Of course with your comment, it clearly shows that either A) nothing they announced at the show would please you... or B) Your expectations are way...way too damn high...
There's been a source... not necessarily an inside source but has been very accurate with Xbox information and says this game crackdown 3 will look amazing come XO18 time... I have more stock in his comments (Klobrille) than any of these anti-Xbox ass-clowns that just troll on this site... He has been very reliable to include information regarding the possible Obsidian acquisition as well. Which still isn't 100% done deal, but still looking promising.

Very difficult for an American Company to purchase controlling interest in a Japanese Company. It would be easier for MS to set up a studio in Japan and attempt to poach talent than try and outright buy a company over there.
MS didn't have much of a choice with "We happy few"... Because a deal with Gearbox was already inked by Compulsion games prior to the purchase. Minecraft however, is a good example and was such a huge purchase at over $2 Billion... so they had to keep that game Multiplat because of the huge gigantic install base it already had. Making that exclusive would have probably killed that game... or greatly crippled the userbase. They needed to keep the huge user base to generate mone...

You cannot make that claim... Without knowing research and development costs and marketing. Did they make profits on all bundles sold at steep discount prices during last black Friday events? How much is there actual profit off each sale? It's not always as simple as they sell ...
Games success is measured differently than peripherals. You should know this.
Roughly 70+ million-ish PS4s have been sold compared to just 3 million-ish VR headsets. The attach rate is terrible... and that was after massive discounts on bundles last black Friday sales. I hated the Kinect and dislike VR in it's current forms that includes all forms... PSVR, Windows Mixed Reality and Oculus and I don't understand what MS's end point with their HoloLense for gaming was… Maybe they learned from Kinect and realized at least in the current form price and intera...
@Chevalier MS just bought 4 studios built another AAA studio from the ground up and hinted more studio purchases are to come. Of course it will take time after they closed multiple studios at the end of their 360 era, but the games and content are coming. All future 1p games are day one game pass and with 1p studio #'s getting up there lots of great content will be incoming... Netflix wasn't built in a day... and neither will Game Pass, but it's getting there.

Private Division doesn't own the IP... Obsidian does... and since Obsidian Owns the IP... MS owns the IP... Private Division only had publishing rights... All Obsidian post Oter Worlds 1 will be Xbox / Win 10 exclusive. Any sequel will come from MS or will not be made.
