Why? Disney wanted 50/50 on movie rights to a Marvel Character they don't own (for movies). That sounds like Disney is the greedy company to me. Not to mention Disney still owned the merchandise profits. I can see Disney wanting more than like the 5% they were getting... but to go from 5 to 50... way too big of a jump and I can see why Sony put a stop to it.
I think it looks fun for an old school side scroller... It was never meant to be a AA or AAA game. Looks good for the budget and small team that built it.
I don't think so... I think it was more of the gameplay... If I remember right... I actually prefer games that take about 5-20 hours to complete. I also like the shorter games when they have good online modes I can play once I finish the campaign.
I doubt MS changed their requirements. There was no reason to. Ultimately it didn't matter if PS4 became compatible with Bedrock version. Whatever agreement was reached is a good thing though there will now be a much larger connected Minecraft community. A giant win for Minecraft fans.
Until Google buys some prime developers I'm not sure how seriously one can take Stadia. They will have zero 1p games. They cannot rely on 3rd party games and money hatting timed exclusives/Permanent exclusives. The other problem? Only viable way to play is streaming and the internet infrastructure just isn't there. Too many issues with a streaming-only console... and I believe the Stadia release will highlight these issues. Data caps are probably the biggest block when you're talking about streaming 4K gaming and the fact internet speeds at least across the US varies from terrific to just plain terrible. I don't think the Internet infrastructure is ready right now.
I am guessing 116 (downvotes) individuals... really have no clue what a great business move is... Console warriors are the worst. they can't even recognize a great business move by a competitor. MS has made a fortune off this acquisition and resisted the urge to make it exclusive to reap in large amounts of profits as a multi-plat multi-device title.
I really enjoyed the first SOD... The second seemed more like a 1.5 than a complete sequel... Now that Undead Labs has increased employees and more resources and funding are available since becoming an Xbox 1p developer I expect a much bigger and more refined experience at launch. Hopefully, a true sequel fans of the series deserve.
