lol... yeah because he is going to spill the beans on a podcast of all their inside business dealings.
Not all game consoles are created equally. Maybe the PS5 can't handle it?
It's not a big deal, because to say the Xbox Series X isn't more powerful you're just being ignorant. There will be some games that only have this option on the Series X and that is just a fact.
The fact they have an exclusivity deal with Sony and Xbox series X got it first should possibly tell you something.
@RgR
For subscription based services the subscription base is all that really matters and it isn’t even remotely close.
Sony could do some things to make it more attractive for users but right now the subscription base has so much of a differential tells me you don’t understand what makes a subscription service superior... And day one 1p games is gigantic to say it’s not you are just being dumb especially as they increase the amount of 1p developers in th...
It really depends if you like physical copies or trading in games once you are finished playing them. If you do then the disc drive is for you. If you are fine with the digital prices, digital sales, and loading games from your chair and don't care about trading in games Digital will be fine.
I don't think it's overly important... Especially at launch. It would be a nice feature for Sony to add down the road.
Yeah... Lots of people forget the PS4 1p launch line-up was appalling... Not to mention PS5 isn't exactly stellar... But it looks terrific next to the non-existent Xbox Series X/S 1p line-up.
@Kornholic
If it lets you experience the same games at a cheaper price... It does belong. Having a budget-minded next-gen console for families where money doesn't stretch as far isn't a bad thing. Get over yourself. It plays the same games it's a next-gen experience.
Well, it allows you to experience Next-Gen games... that will not come to PS4 Or Xbox 1 X... So that would be a next-gen gaming experience.
It's not really a catch at all. It's a budget "next-gen" experience nothing more nothing less. Keep in mind the PS5 has less than double the storage space, while the Xbox Series X has a little more than double.
@PrinceAli
"Life to date, FIFA 20 has reached nearly 35 million players on console and PC."
I'm pretty sure EA is not allowed to lie about publically announced numbers. Life to date (not necessarily all active users at this point) across all consoles and PCs WW numbers that is perfectly achievable... And it would be unethical and illegal for a company to release numbers based on a lie.
All of them are under 1TB of actual user storage. Maybe not as small as 364GB... but none of them are huge. They can't be because SSD's cost too much for the multi-terabyte offerings. You're also paying $299 for an entry-level next-gen gaming experience, but not a premium offering.
@NeoGamer232
Yup... Because you couldn't just snap back on the original on right?
Not saying Sony is right... Not saying they were wrong. But it was Sony's decision and they made it.
That's all that matters.
I fully expect Playstation to dominate the sales again especially early. Then I think It really ends up with Microsoft deciding what to do with the Zenimax studios' games. If they fully keep them exclusive (which I think many people do) to the Xbox ecosystem Xbox will tighten up the sales gap quite a bit. If they have them timed... Probably won't see much difference. Xbox GamePass will probably be the biggest winner with the Zenimax deal...
But, since I will on...
Psychonauts 2 already had agreements in place that Microsoft chose to honor. Not necessarily the same thing.
I think you will be highly disappointed. I don't think Xbox is sharing games with Playstation. But you can enjoy it on PC if you would like. Just like Elder Scrolls VI and the next Doom.
Right... that is why they purchased Zenimax for $7.5B, right?
Funny joke... But you know you couldn't be more wrong...
Bethesda Game Studios, Arkane Studios, id Software, MachineGames, Tango Gameworks, and ZeniMax Online Studios, Playground Games, Ninja Theory, Double Fine, Obsidian Entertainment... etc...
May not save this launch line-up... But come mid-generation... you will see a ton of high-quality exclusive content on Xbox.
Not sure what MS was thinking with this 1p launch line-up being non-...
@Potatoseal
But the Windows 10 operating system is their OS... Created and owned by Microsoft... Microsoft is a business company... Do you think they care if you like them if they can get you to play their games on a different device through an OS that they own? No... they don't and better yet subscribe to a Gamepass sub? I don't think they will mind. What are they up to 15 Million subs... It's all about revenue...

After Zenimax deal goes through... assuming it will they will have a Japanese studio. Tango Gameworks... They could grow that studio if they choose to maybe 2 or 3 teams to increase their presence in Japan. If they are able to grow that and maybe snag 2 mid-size developers in Japan they might even have a reason to start showing up to TGS again... lol...
