I remember when Heart Of The Swarm was promised 9 months after Wings Of Liberty.
I was so very young back then.
As I get older (and more cynical and jaded) the unique experiences in life start to stand out a bit more.
Mirror's Edge is one such glorious example.
Artistically and in its gameplay, it was completely unique and fun. In the COD era that we live in, I think this is worth preserving.
I'm glad its going to be accessible, I just hope that doesn't mean what it means coming from every other developer - that it's dumbed down for the CODtard mass market.
As much as an article like this is still news, if you really wanted to stop it, you just wouldn't report it.
Besides, who would pirate a preview build of an RPG - it'll basically be unplayable. Anyone who does download it is using it as a glorified demo but still the developer will cry that every single download is a lost customer.
A fair article but I think this kind of attitude will just lead to an over-saturation of B grade bullshit on the market.
Thank. God.
Although you could be less offensive about it, I agree.
I'm all for catering to minorities, but that kinda the point; they're minorities. If you alienate the majority its equally if not more unfair.
Companions hitting on me is going to ruin their characters and my experience of the game. In reality, how many times a day do you get hit on by a guy? What's that? Almost never? Exactly.
It's not realism if every guy who sees you t...
How is realism attached to being gay? Although there are many gay people in the world, there are still vastly more heterosexuals.
"Realistic" would be having Shepard make platonic friends with guys he likes while hitting on chicks.
I don't think its unfair of me to say that Garrus hitting on me while I try to have a normal conversation with him is the opposite of helpful and will make me stop talking to him.
There should just be...
Thank G-D! Half-Life 3 NAOW!!!!
Good to know he wasn't lying when he said this a month ago. Should be a blast :D
Agree completely :) my overly sarcastic comment probably didn't convey that.
So I'll do that now.
I'm so sick of people comparing gamers that shouldn't be compared. Sure these two are similar, but one is a huge franchise backed by the biggest gaming company in the world. The other is a new franchise being made on a shoestring budget.
Both will probably be great, and they shouldn't be compared.
Morality systems are fun but they need to be really done properly, even more so than other features.
If a game shoehorns in a couple of features that aren't fully fleshed out it never irritates me, unless its the morality system.
In this case, do it properly (Fallout 3, Bioshock, Dragon Age, Mass Effect), or don't do it at all.
I just wish the developer commentary mode allowed you to play through as a complete game instead of only being able to load one level at a time.
It breaks immersion to be kicked back to the menu screen after every chapter.
I suppose Torchlight 2 is Diablo's biggest competitor in that it is the best Diablo clone.
It's still like a kitten fighting Griffon. Technically its a fight, but really, is it?
Portal 1 feels better because it was a tighter package.
Its easy to make the perfect treat, it's harder to make a perfect meal.
I don't play multiplayer games and I'm an avid and devoted gamer.
I hear what you're saying but no, not happening, hasn't happened and won't happen.
Duke is to games, what porn is to film.
Not for everyone, but clearly its wanted.
How do you kill that which has no life?
Valve stop it! *rolls up newspaper and smacks on nose*
NO! Bad Valve.
Make full length, Half Life games.
Watch how rich and loved you get, just watch.
Dammit! Screw you sir.
I was all ready to make an ingenous, subtle, and yet oddly powerful joke about how Turn Based is Real Times retarded, pedophile elephantine step broster (half brother and half sister).
Now I can't make a joke.
