See, here's my problem...SKKKKKKKKYYYYYRRRRRI IIIIIIIMMMMMMM
Everything, everything and everything?
I'm not arguing its bad value for money, its not. Heart of the Swarm looks like a complete game.
I just prefer a story that swaps between parties to provide perspective. I like it in books, movies and games.
Waiting 1-2years between perspective changes doesn't provide the same satisfaction (to me at least)
To each their own. I hope to meet you on Battle.net one day :)
I must say, it is really nice to get someone who actually takes the time to articulate their opinions properly instead of slinging the hate so thank you :)
I suppose my issue with SC2 is that I felt the singleplayer of WoL was poor from a writing and storyline point of view (the gameplay was varied and excellent).
I felt the writing was pretty bland and there was very little by way of a cohesive over arching plot line. Compared to one of the three campaigns p...
Starcraft 2 and it's two expansions were supposed to ship "no more than 9-12 months apart".
As much as I'm excited for the next game, the irritated dissatisfied feeling I have is exactly why I still wish they had shipped Starcraft 2 with three shorter campaigns.
Swapping perspective frequently makes for a more interesting narrative in my opinion. I wish they had stuck to it.
I do think that singleplayer is definitely not the...
There are already some working cracks out there.
With a multiplayer focused game like BF3 or COD these kind of leaks aren't as bad as people make out. They're definitely not good, but they're not a catastrophe.
If people love the game they'll buy it for the multiplayer.
I agree so hard. Multiplayer is not where I want to see them focusing.
How about making the world more open? How about making the missions less disjointed? Make the overarching story a more integral part of the game without giving me a laundry list to get through right at the beginning.
These are my personal gripes which, despite loving Bioware, I feel put them at the edge of either innovating and staying awesome or doing more of the same and fading behind th...
It's really funny because I was about to buy the game (despite 0 interest) because of the uniqueness of the idea.
Then when I realised I only get the game if they get to 10 million pre-orders, I closed the browser.
They can't expect me to take the risk, they have to.
If they'd committed to the 1$ price and assured me of a copy they would have had a much better chance of achieving their goal - catch 22.
Nice idea ...
I have a radeon 5850 and I'm still having problems - will try the new patch and let you know.
I have to admit, I normally love ATI, but their cards always seem to have problems.
Price\performance, ATI is king but the extra you pay for nvidia seems to be worth it.
I'm running an ATI 5850 and am very happy, but when I upgrade, nvidia's physx along with the stability is probably going to win me over.
The drivers made RAGE crash for me - couldn't even start up the game.
I appreciate people who take the time (and brainpower) to express their opinions politely and intelligently.
More like you sir, and gaming would be held in higher regard amongst the mainstream press.
I look forward to getting my hands on RAGE :)
Why Valve> WHY?! We just want Half life 3. I've waited and waited and icantwaitanymoreimsotiredandsa dicantevenbreathebecauseicrymys elftosleeptoomuchafterpleasurin gmyselftoapictureofgordanfreema nsabes.
I furiously nod my head in an oscillating motion.
I think game companies see people downloading their games (who would NEVER otherwise purchase them) and they think that each download is a lost potential sale.
Then they have tantrums and cry and ultimately alienate the people who ARE their fans by implementing North Koreanesque software.
The attitude of CD Projekt Red (The Witcher 2 developers) is perfect: ignore pirates and just try to be a...
I agree with this guy. I really wish people understood me when I ranted about actually wanting to OWN the product I spend my cash on.
If in 10 years time I want to show my son Diablo III. I want to be able to take it out of a box, install it and play it without wondering if the servers are still up.
The reason pirates pirate (myself included) is because it is sheer madness to expect me to spend more money on a worse product. It makes no fundamental sense.
I agree with you, make it optional or just tweak how often they break.
I don't know who disagreed with you, but they must have been denied sex this morning.
Your comment is funny.
Funny and harmless.
Like a midget.
Despite everything, I liked Alpha Protocol. It had some really unique features and a nicely shaped style.
Bugs and problems, certainly.
Worth a gander? Most definitely.
Its not that I don't believe this, its just not true.
:D I <3 capitalism.
After watching some of the videos I get the impression Reckoning may be a lot lighter and sort of happier than Skyrim. I mean that in the best possible way. Its looking awesome.
Incidentally I'm selling a kidney...any takers?
