Haven't played Forza 2, but it must be amazing indeed since so many people here are saying they played both and prefer it over Mario Kart 8. MK8 is one of the best racers I've ever played. I'm dislike XBox One as much as the next guy, but no, ending a sale is not the worst decision, even if they permanently drop the price in a month or so. If they would have kept the price low, holiday customers would have rightfully complained they had been lied to about it being a temporary sale. Also, depending on the text of promotions, they may have been legally obligated to raise the price back up.

It will just take the right developer (like Media Molecule calibur) to understand the tech enough to use it for something unique instead of just a gesture recognition based controller, but who also have the vision to make it into a compelling game with some heart.
