@septic. Not sure how old you are, but the Rare from the N64 days and even more so the SNES days was a force to be reckoned with. Churning out classics like there was no tomorrow, and usually everything they made was the best looking thing on whatever platform (Conker on n64, Donkey Kong Country on SNES, and the original Killer Instinct in the arcades). Now they're just ... not terrible.

Yes! I'd love any type of non-standard racer or car combat with this attention to detail. Like a Wipeout, or a Motorstorm, or Jet Moto. Anything where you have some impossibly awesome vehicles or tracks, but rendered with this attention to detail would be so amazing.

If you mean the $149 price, I hope that's not true. It would have to be weaker than the Wii-U for that to work.
It looks like crap, and it's not because of some retro modern thing. It's because it's rendering two views at once. And if they were planning to do stuff like that, they should have built a more powerful console.

I disagree. I won't go finding all the big names (John Carmack is one), but when people with high positions at companies they've been at for years try on a vr headset, and immediately move over to that vr headset company, and when they all say that it's some world changing ground-breaking thing, and when tons of hardware review outlets say the same thing, I'm pretty sure there's something to it.
Am I the only one who thinks Tekken has long jumped the shark?
It used to be my favorite fighting game around Tekken 3. It's gotten so inconsistent and crappy graphically, gameplay-wise, character design-wise, everything. I just can't find it in me to get excited about Tekken anymore. I don't feel like they take the franchise very seriously anymore. Snoop Dogg and their free to play, pay to win edition were the final nails in the coffin for me.

The fan reaction is an embarrassment to Nintendo. Misread their audience and the state of the market once again, like they did with the console itself. The NX needs to be a powerful console that can play modern third party titles, that way if they take a chance on a first party title and do something different, it isn't such a big deal because there are plenty of other new games on the way.
