Yeah, exactly. Every time two things are in the same genre they are exactly the same quality.
That's why most people consider Bubsy 3d to be exactly the same as Super Mario World, and Big Rigs : Over the Road Racing is just as likeable as Forza, and Justin Beiber is interchangeable with Michael Jackson, and the Last Airbender Movie was as good as Return of the King.
That's what they meant when they said XBox One could do 4k
Thanks!
got mk8, ssb, Mario 3d world, Zelda:we, and nintendoland.
can't friggin wait!
thinking of getting Toad and DKC at the last minute as well.
Strongly considering breaking holiday code and having the family open the Wii-U early...
It's nice they let the kid write an article for his 9th birthday. Good job, son!
Oh shut up.
Now people can't discuss their opinions of something on an online forum?
This article sucks. How's that?
I don't see where they acknowledged he had been hacked, which would be a seriously crappy move to not give a refund at that point. They agreed the purchase occurred on a different PS4. So all I have to do is call up my friend, have him make a purchase with my info and then get a refund?
Also, how is it a hack? Did the hacker log into PSN, and steal their credit card number or force a fraudulent transaction? No, if anything his credit card was number was stolen, in w...
might pick up dkc/captain toad with this
Interview was a bit annoying...like the 80 questions about exclusivity when it was clear it wasn't a subject of interest to the dev at the start of the interview.
Also, it's so annoying that devs are still doing pre-rendered trailers. It should be an unwritten law that you have to specify prerendered or realtime at the beginning of each trailer.
Right. I mean being able to search your services that way though. So I want to watch Guardians of the Galaxy in a few months, and I don't know which if any services have it. Instead of checking each service one by one, I do one search and it checks all services.
I think I heard somewhere that Roku (or one those streaming boxes) might have a search like this. It will probably be the standard for everything in a few years. It would be cooler with voice and the x1's ...
@christocolus - yeah, I saw that. I still don't think it's anything but hyperbolic exaggeration to call it 'the future of gaming'.
Something similar called 'client-side prediction' (look it up) has been in online shooters since the mid 90's.
It's On-Live or PSNow with some server side prediction for lag compensation. Whooptey-friggin-do. I didn't call it a rip-off, I'm just saying it's nothing new, or at least, n...
If I had ridiculous money to spend on just a media box, I'd choose the X1. The voice command channel thing by itself is just too badass.
I just wish it had a feature to search through all the streaming services in one command like. "XBox, play Breaking Bad", and it would list Netflix, AMC (the channel), and whatever else had it available with one single voice search.
So...it's like Playstation Now for the XBox? That's the future of gaming?
Also, XB1 is the clear winner this season based off of November sales only? What a ridiculous fanboy article.
Despite my highly anti-WiiU comment history, I ended up getting a wii u for the family this christmas. XBox One was never in the running, and I really tried to want a PS4. Even though I had made the decision before I left my house, I stood in front of the PS4 games rack, trying to make myself choose PS4, but there just wasn't a single thing there that made me want one. The only game that could have turned the tide was LBP3 if it turned out to get good reviews, but alas, it didn't, ...
This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.
I'm going to start a white house petition to stop all injustice in the world.
I personally think the character is lame and generic,( and this is coming from someone who likes cutesy girly characters, and catgirls) but 'people' aren't having an issue. As far as I can tell, the dev is pissy about one thread on NeoGaf. I don't blame the gamers complaining at all, you can find at least one thread of naysayers about pretty much anything you can imagine. This is on the dev for reacting immaturely.
Hooray!
Absolutely. Anyone who disagrees or at least anyone who thinks this is out of the question is incredibly naive, or hasn't payed any attention to anything Capcom's done in the last 10 years.
Does anyone know anything about cybersecurity/network infrastructure/law that can answer a simple question for me?
How do Lizard Squad and other random cyber(and noncyber) criminals not get immediately caught after bragging on Twitter or any other social media. I would have thought bragging (confessing) online about stuff would make you easily findable?
Regardless of what the laws 'should' be, for any random crime or terrorist threat, can't they ...
