@ Keith22
I know him and I know immature stances that accomplish nothing, but that doesn't change the fact that your choice will only negatively impact you and will have zero impact on either of them in any way. Similar to how I could not download Dead Space 3 or Crysis 3 because I hate EA. Thats all fine and dandy, but come the end of the day I am simply selecting 2 less games to play and 2 less PlayStation Plus titles just so I can send a statement to a company that no ...
What do you accomplish by doing that?
Sony "pays" a flat rate for games (it would make no sense per download, since most people download everything because it's free regardless), so you not downloading it simply results in you having 1 less subscription tied title and lowers your overall value (even if you never play it). Furthermore, you could look at it the other way and try to increase the number so it seems like they gave up more sales by giving it away wit...
I'll probably get a bunch of disagrees for this, but...
"The problem with PS plus (for devs) is that I've paid for a few then months later they have come to plus."
While that is always disappointing (I think I've had it happen to me at least once a month for the past 2 - 3 years), you simply need to change your perception of the issue. Like it might suck that you're losing value / wasted money, but odds are you wanted said game and a...
@ Fermcr
While they're not technically free, but as MysticStrummer put it "included with your subscription," many people still consider them free for whatever reason. I think it's an argument similar to Club Nintendo, where some people actually buy PlayStation Plus for the discounts / cloud saving / automatic syncing / to play online on the PS4 and to them the games are a freebie. In the end it doesn't really matter, though I don't think it's fai...
@ Prime517
Dragon's Crown is NOT cross-buy, but Kristine Steimer (Sony rep / person who posted this weeks Plus update) is claiming Plus members get both versions.
"Oh another sh*tty offerings. I feel sad for saying this but I'm disappointed with what PS+ have been offering for the last months."
I've been disappointed with the past 6 months (I've owned most of the games or versions of them like the original PJ Shooters or Dead Nation) and this is the first month I can say I am genuinely excited for. I was planning on getting Road not Taken, so that saves me some money, I wanted the Vita version of Dragon's Crow...
Depends the situation. Usually if they have a trade in X and get Y bonus for preowned purchases, a store will let you have the excess credit if you make 1 purchase and 1 cent is cheap enough where I wouldn't have to bother returning it or eating the cost out of laziness.
"Why can't there be a europe tag? "
Because sites need views and they only lose views when they stipulate which region they're talking about. With that being said, a lot of people also don't care since so far PS4 games have been universal and what 1 region gets gives you an idea of what another region might get. Like Europe got Muramasa a few months back and we got it this month.
@ gfk342 and ZodTheRipper
I think you're misunderstanding the Metacrtic "rule." For one thing, I've only seen SCEE mention Metacritic and it's my understanding that it's simply something that their marketing department came up with. With that being said, the rule isn't actually a rule per se, but an explanation of what the term "great" means. This has been reenforced by SCEA / SCEE offering several games in the 70< range and it not ...
It's not Far Cry 3, but Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, which is better if you ask me. The author just copied down the wrong name and it would make this rumor even more questionable if they meant Far Cry 3, since Russia would be part of Europe and Europe already got Far Cry 3 ( http://blog.eu.playstation.... ).
I wouldn't read too much into it and strongly believe it's fake. For one thing, so far the same PS4 games have been free in Europe, NA and Asia, which brings into question why The Swapper would be a play title (would be complex to explain / implement) and Sony NA would not announce it as an upcoming Plus title (imagine how pissed you would be preordering it only to see it go free with Plus on release).
The biggest red flag is Atelier Rorona Plus, which released on Ju...

"I dont see what the issue really is"
Money. Not only is it going to cost them money to get him back and reread the lines, it would also cause a delay. I mean, imagine having to have a person come back to reread possibly every line of dialog he has in the game, plus multiple other takes, and then code that in the game, QA test it again, possibly resend it to Sony and do so before the game goes gold, which will probably happen in 3 or so weeks.
I me...
"Xbox Live Rewards and PSN only give you points on certain games though, or certain preorders. Nintendo gives you points on EVERY first party game or console."
While I can't comment on the Xbox Live one, Sony rewards counts physical Sony pictures Bluray / DVD and tickets to Sony pictures movies, in addition to any purchase on the PSN and sometimes they throw it in as a preorder bonus. You can also purchase items off say GameStop or Best Buy via the Sony Rewards ...
"the ps4 version have an exclusive raid...so yeah theres more than one raid."
Where did you get that information?

"When was the last time you played Reach?"
As I mentioned in my post, I never played it and can't actually comment on its size. My post was really just saying the levels might seem small if you just go from mission to mission and are unaware things like the strike mission and main area are connected. Especially the moon, which had a huge underground system that you could easily explore for 10+ minutes.
"Earth then remembered Bungie was hyping the planets up to be bigger than Reach. That was a blatant lie. "
Did you actually explore the map? While I can't comment on how big Reach is (sony side, so I never played it), the moon was significantly larger than what was available on Earth and both places were actually quite spacious if you ran around looking for things. Like almost everything you see on earth is (from what I understand) connected to the same map you ...
"They should add a matchmaking system for PvE like FF14 ARR."
Strike missions have a matchmaking system and I believe you can invite people to join your party at the tower or on the map. Never tried, but I recall there being an "invite to strike team" option when you interacted with someone.
"Rumor about additional ghost designs? "
Beyond the white and red collectors edition one.
"The ghost has its own equipment slot. Clearly, there will be other ghost designs."
Again, we already knew there would be two, so the slots made sense. It also makes sense for there to be multiple slots for future DLC or something alone those lines.
With that being said, my comment about the ghost was mostly based ...
I know I'll get a bunch of disagrees for this, but...
"42% attach rate is Legendary really.
How many other games EVER had that kind of attach rate. "
You have to wonder how much this figure is inflated by the Mario Kart 8 free game promotion. Just looking at various forums you can see some users bought anywhere from 2 to 9 copies of the game just to obtain Club Nintendo codes and either redeem them for the game or sell them for ...
