"Seems to work for me."
To me the article seems a little weird. Basically people are seeing the wrong game listed as free and are trying to get it all the same. This isn't the first time it has happened, nor will it be the last, but I really don't see the problem. I sincerely doubt or at least hope I'm not the only person who double checks I am paying $0.00 when I buying free items on the PSN store. Sure it's a waste of time, but I rather waste a cou...
"I'm not sure what you mean in the first sentence. I have all the weapons except the rocket launcher. "
What is so hard to understand? If you have the stuff from a lower difficulty, then it sucks having them in the loot pool, but if you don't have the items, then it's great.
"I wasn't too clear. I meant if you beat 35, are the lower level drops gone."
Now I have to ask, why would this "suck?" Whil...
"That would suck"
It goes both ways.
Like I never heard of anyone getting the normal weapons from Crota in Crota's End (mind you, I haven't kept up for the past month or so), so they might be exclusive to the normal raid. This means that if I want say, the Black Hammer, I need to beat Crota on normal and then again on hard. I much rather have both in the same pool, maybe with the normal weapons being rarer, which seems to be the case with t...
"Anyway...... Handsome Jack can't be redeemed in Tales from the Borderlands. That's not how redemption works."
Having read the article, I have to agree with this statement and question whether the author knows what redemption actually is. I mean, how exactly is a character going to atone for guilt if they, as even the author notes, are unaware of many of the events of Borderlands 2? And even then, since it's an AI version of Jack and not even the real Ja...
"I'm sure the top brass know exactly what they're doing to be honest. By creating an environment where there aren't enough to go around it makes people want it even more"
If there was more supply I could understand this, but in reality this probably has to do with port strikes and NoA having bad practices. Right now all they're doing is basically encouraging people to import amiibos, which are nowhere near as rare in other regions, basically wasting ...
If you're going to do an article like this, why are you looking at examining upcoming content? I mean, not only are you unable to accurately examine "whether or not it was a good value for consumers," it undercuts any point the article might be trying to make. This might just be me talking, but if you're going to examine stuff, then you should know what you're talking about. Not looking at something like Mortal Kombat X, saying the price is high, which is actually avera...
MKX is a fantastic game, which does have problems, but its biggest problems aren't that bad and I wouldn't be shocked if the game scored poorly because of mortality/making a stand. Like the story isn't that great and the net code could be better, but neither of these things should tank the score beyond an 8 or 9, much less a 5. So I think the issue is the reviewer decided to tank the score over DLC/their practices.
Similar to Injustice, which I think did some thin...
It's a stand alone, should have a platinum, etc.
No, but he does have the Gjallarhorn and that thing both looks and is awesome.
I've seen some silly topics, but come on!
This reminds me of when someone comes into a store and asks "how are you doing?" They don't really want to know, they just want something like "great, you?" Honestly, most people will tell you it's socially unacceptable to response to that question negatively. So if someone asks, you have to say "fantastic" instead of "poor" or "bad," even if the former is a lie and the la...
"I'm not defending the milking of DLC but no one is forcing you to buy it either,"
Why is this so many peoples go to response? If you don't like it, shut up about it and move on? Not only does it push conformity, in that no one should say anything negative, thus nothing negative is seen/said and in turn companies are told it's okay because no one is saying anything negative being said, but it won't change anything. However, saying something results i...
Eh, but it really doesn't solve anything though.
The solution is something that is already known to the point where it is pointless. If you downloaded it in the past, then you can still download it and or find someone who did in the past and download it from them. This has been true for every delisted, promotional or short term item in the history of the PSN. But in the end, unless you yourself did this in the past, it changes nothing.

"To me PS+ is paying for online, and the games just sweeten the deal. "
Okay, but to most others it's the "free games" and to a lesser degree the other services. I bring this up since PlayStation Plus existed years before it was required for online and even then, it only affects people on the PlayStation 4. Anyone without a PS4 is just paying for the games, automatic downloads and cloud storage (more or less anyway). Sure some ...
Maybe its me, but I've never understood why people try to justify one thing with bad examples of another thing.
Like which cinema are you going to that has $20 tickets? As of right now I can buy a ticket to see the Avengers in IMAX 3D on release at primetime, which is twice as much (almost 3x when compared to 10 a.m.) as seeing it before 5 p.m., yet still roughly $4 cheaper than your figure, at my local AMC theater. Perhaps you define going to the cinema as buying multip...
I'll give you the writing is needlessly confrontational, but you're ultimately wrong. While Sony themselves can't fix or force a game to support the PS TV (or Vita), Sony can offer incentives, support, perks or make deals so companies will support it.
I don't really want to needlessly argue a bunch of things, argue semantics, but ultimately there are things Sony can do.
"crota was poorly executed IMO"
I agree. Crota's End felt like Bungie was trying to make it the opposite of VoG. By this I mean Vault of Glass is more about defending (holding positions, the relic IS a literal shield, most sections were slow and timed, you can't kill all the gorgon and exit, etc) and Crota's End is about attacking (rushing positions, you use a literal sword, most sections were easier if you just pushed forward). By making it all about ru...
"I really don't get why anyone ever even slightly believes these lists. "
I think it started as people posting them because there were legitimate leaks in the past and now get posted because they're clickbait. Why bother working on a legitimate post for something important when you can post something simple like this and get something like 10x the views?
"Been out for months on Wii u and 3DS so wouldn't be that crazy a deal apart from the fact it's a great game"
While I assume you're trolling by saying it's crazy that Plus would get a "great game," it is absolutely absurd to believe Sony would offer Shovel Knight. Not only did they hype it nearly two months ago as part of the Spring Fever sale, it would be going from a 10% discount with plus to free within 2 weeks. This would be a terrible...
I can't say I would consider this the ideal Nintendo loyalty program, nor would I say it would even be a positive step for the future of the company.
See, the issue with a price reduction program is that it would probably be worse and less rewarding than deals I can already find. By paying Best Buy up to $30 you can get Gamer Club Unlocked for 2 years and that gives you 20% off all games. So by opting out of buying 1 Nintendo title I could get up to (not including CEs an...
"WiiU doesn't need saving."
I can understand the argument that the Wii U needs saving, but I will never understand the argument that it's possible for a single game to make a system go from unsuccessful to successful. What typically happens is either the price drops to the point where people can easily justify the cost or a series of strong titles release and people break down.
With that being said, I think Splatoon will be an amazing game, ...
