"Games I would add to this list include..."
Maybe its me, but I find it amazing (depressing?) that even with 50 titles you can have notable titles left out. While I could understand excluding Toukiden (though I would argue it's a better game, save story, than Soul Sacrifice or Freedom Wars) because you didn't like it, but how can you leave out Disgaea? Disagree 3/4 both had amazing gameplay, suit the "pick up and play" style of a portable system, ha...
"Yes, I certainly can say that... I just think I've done enough hard work to classify as someone that knows a thing or two about the difficulty of trophies."
You missed my point ENTIRELY. My point was this is just their opinion and many people feel differently or even define difficulty differently, so can you really say someone forgot or that online trophies have to be included when they might feel differently?
Don't get me wrong, I agree t...
"The article forgot a lot of retarded online trophies. "
Can you really say that when everything is based off perspective?
Flawless raider isn't that hard and most groups use to fail at the jumping puzzle or the Gorgon's maze, not the actual fights. It also got easier with Crota's End, with some people soloing it. Though you can certainly make a case for it being a pain in the ***.
You can abuse save states (clear a room...
This, though I think the restrictive class system also played a role in making the game more frustrating than fun.
Whats the point of forcing every team to have a medic, trapper, attacker, etc if you force people to do roles they either don't know or want to play and ultimately don't accomplish them? Sure a 2 attack, no medic team will be weaker, but no weaker than a 1 attack and 1 medic team with both playing attack.
"A simple difficulty setting could make this a more commercial title"
The souls series is one of the few things where offering a difficulty setting could ruin the game. I won't get into a large explanation, but the selling point is the experience, which would be changed with a difficulty setting.
Either they render many key aspect of the games moot (penalty for being stupid, need to be patient, etc) or they make a change that changes nothing fo...
"I heard Woah Dave is coming for PS4. Please, please, PLEASE not that trash again for a different system. "
This is a perfect example of the blind leading the blind. Someone at some point listened to the blogcast and heard WD, PS4, plus and free, then read into it thinking that WD would be an April title.
Having listened to the blogcast, something much different is being said. The title is said to be free THIS MONTH, which means it should be free o...
It isn't. The blogcast simply revealed that Woah Dave is free this (meaning it's probably March, not April...) month and isn't an "official" title.
The worst part about this post is that the blogcast might be confusing, but it made a couple of things perfectly clear.
1) They outright say it's free this month, which they knew was March and logically means Woah Dave! PS4 will release on March 31, 2015.
2) It was mentioned that it wasn't an "official Plus title," which obviously meant it isn't considered part of the months (be it April or March) offering.
"that actually make sense."
Out of curiosity, what about it makes sense?
As of a year ago Gearbox wasn't apparently making Borderlands 3 and even if they currently are, it wasn't announced, so it isn't like they're using it to drum up interest like many companies do.
Unlike say God of War III, which was a PS3 exclusive, Borderlands 2 and to a lesser extent pre-sequel! certainly got around. Borderlands 2 was on ever...
They go both way, but I don't see why so many people harsh/complain about "pointless" tasks. Not only do I find them helpful, there are a lot of people who have different thought processes and are able to join in on the fun. Like if every trophy required stuff like Committed Until the End, Flawless Raider, Tactical Challenger, etc, then a lot of people would feel alienated. At least with the easy things they can continue to progress in levels/points, feel like they have a stake ...
"My god What's wrong with remastering this five year old game? It may be unnecessary, but why do you care? "
Why do you care that other people care? Their negativity doesn't stop you or other from enjoying this yourself. See, we can all ask pointless questions we already know the answer to.
"yeah I'm aware that there was a collection for PS3. But you know what? You would still be bitching about it because it is yet a remaster of a ...
"Was It like this last gen on these sites too? "
This has been true for as long as I can remember and that is going back all the way to the Genesis days...
"Can't get excited about anything with you guys man"
I don't see how other peoples disappointment affects you. Especially in a logical thing like fighting games where such feelings are common and understandable.
"We don't even know if ...
Even without new players Xur will always be relevant because there are always going to be people who missed out or the game changed in a way where something bad is good and vice versa. The perfect of this is Red Death, which was an average gun and not one that I would use in most situations and given my small reserve, I scrapped the first one I got. Now that fusion rifles are better, it's a gun worth using or so I'm told (haven't played since the path) and many might need Xur to r...
"If the person in the store had any moral compass..."
How much do you think the system is actually worth though? So many people here act like the system is worth $5,000 - $50,000 and the store gave them $120 bucks, but that does not seem to be the case. Going off the article it seems they got $1,122~ for it and going off eBay it seems like the system routinely sells for <$2,000. After eBay and PayPal fees you're looking at about $1,741.70 and this doesn't...
Serious question. Why do you feel the need to reply to an article you clearly didn't read?
"He could have sold it to me for at least $600."
I mean, your minimum is still well below what they got. CeX, I guess, paid £750 for the system, which is $1,122. This is nearly TWICE your offer, yet you act like they're some uninformed boob that got some beads and a handshake for the system.
I mean, I get that you're "po...
"I don't get the hate... who said you had to do this on your first attempt at the game? how about the second? I'd love to rip through the game on my second attempt. "
I don't get it either. What confuses me even more is that anyone who read the article would know it's a gradual process that can be stopped at any point. Now I am not saying everyone should instantly get everyone to 99, but it's a great way to get to the next section in the story wi...
1) It's a single player game. People can play however they want as long as their choices don't negatively impact others. The only reason I could see having an issue with this is if it ruined the trophies (which is pushing it), but the game has an easy list.
2) It doesn't even ruin the game. If you compare a maxed out character to a level like 10 character you would see that you're looking at most 2x attack, roughly the same defense, maybe 2x the HP, and some m...
"you don't abuse saved games. any platform can use seeds for the first three deaths, its the last one where you cant use a seed to activate it. All the seed does is pre render the dungeon, but even then it doesn't take much to kill you in that game."
-eye roll-
Not what I meant, but please rant on about stuff I know. When I say abuse, I mean go into a room, clear it, back out, copy your save elsewhere, repeat until you finish. You can do thi...
That has a lot more to do with Nintendo games maintaining their original or a high MSRP. Like Super Mario Bros. U is a launch title and you'll still have a difficult time finding it for <$50 new at a retail store outside of a promo like BXGY or a special coupon.
"I don't get why those people don't try speed running the full game.. As said it doesnt really impress or show any form of skill abusing glitches "
It's because of the wow factor / amazing sounding title, which will bring in more views.
Man beats Bloodborne in 30~ minutes sounds much better and impressive than Man beats Bloodborne in 2~ hours legitimately.
