A) That isn't their point, it's just that the system will sell for less than it's worth.
B) Power has nothing to do with making great games. Like Legend of Zelda OoT released on inferior hardware for the time and is regarded as one of the best games ever. The same can be said of Final Fantasy VII, which many would agree got WORSE as hardware power increased.
C) Most people don't care about how much money these companies make, they just make debates with factual...

Own a Vita, buy most / all first party titles, obtain more trophies, spend X dollars on the PSN, have Y time spent online, there are plenty of things you can do.

It's most likely a good will gesture to show they care and hope you continue to support them.

That is a gross over estimation.

1) This promotion seems to be limited to the US, so other regions might not get anything. If this is indeed the case, then you got to remove Japan, Asia, Europe and that should VASTLY lower the amount.
2) None of my alternate accounts (that I use for videos and stuff) got it, so that removes a lot of accounts from play.
3) I asked around and my more casual friends didn't get anything.

So we're probabl...

I agree, though some of the points are pretty funny.

Like Multiple discs is a design limitation, not an excuse. The only thing you can consider an "excuse" would be to LIMIT a game to 1 disc to avoid it.

It most likely has a LOT to do with demographics, the "gamer" profile and it being deemed "acceptable" by many.

Like I get the impression you're talking about FPS games (Halo, CoD, etc), which are usually filled with teens and young adults who probably aren't that mature. Like I joined a friends game on Borderlands 2 and there was this 9 year old kid. He instantly asked me for gear (me being level 50 and them being level 30), to which I declined. ...

I don't see why people constantly mention Duke Nukem Forever. I mean what about the game made you think it was going to be an amazing experience? Everything about it was said to be a train wreck and color me surprised when the game was far less than amazing. Also I am happy Gearbox released it, since now we know what Duke Nukem Forever was like. Hopefully they make another title, but based off how they're treating Borderlands 2... it might be for the best to let it stay dead.

Believe it or not, a few (good?) number of titles were actually offered to Sony. Like Shank 2 didn't get a lot of sales, so they offered it to Sony for Plus to make back a few bucks. I am sure we've seen similar with ______ game is coming out and we get the previous title from plus a little before. Like Ninja Gaiden on the Vita.

The reason they lose credit for the launch was due to Rayman Legends being delayed... It was ORIGINALLY a launch title that got delayed to launch window and then this. While they did do a good job with Zombi U (mixed reactions aside), they really should have delayed ACIII to be a simultaneous release. Combine the ACIII thing with the 3 delays Rayman Legends has and now you have a LOT of peoples outlooks.

Zombi U wouldn't work on other platforms, since it uses the tablet ...

You're joking right?

Beating Dead Space 3 on hardcore only sounds hard, in reality it's actually a pretty easy feat.

If you beat the game on Pure Survival you get a MK-II version of virtually every weapon part (for free and better than normal ones) right off the bat with a bunch of materials to start with.
You can upgrade any part of your rig for instant full health.
Since you have MK-II everything, you can use rations on the materia...

I don't see why preordering is bad or why you felt the need to write an article about it.

Some companies offer nice perks for preordering. BB offered 20 credit on Dead Space 3, GTA V, Metal Gear Rising, Bioshock and several more. While you do have to wait for the credit to get posted to your account, you're also free to get a PRICE ADJUSTMENT if it drops. So you could easily make another 10+ from that and even break even / make a profit if you trade / sell your copy. ...

It is definately scary, but at the same time it's also a good thing. We've seen companies do some unfavorable things, which will go away / become less common if they don't have any sort of buffer. Look at Gearbox and Borderlands 2...

They release a fantastic game with a really good preorder bonus, but then pretty much everything went to hell for them...

Many people learned that the golden keys weren't that cool, nor were they exactly hard to c...

The difference is that Borderlands 2 is a good game, so even if the DLC is absolutely worthless, it gets a buffer for having the good source. Even with this the DLC is struggling to score above 7 points, so there is definately backlash. Also if you read virtually any forum about the DLC, you will see that MANY people feel like they got scammed by the season pass and will not buy another if the rumored second season pass is announced for Borderlands 2.

Unless you define tense as cheap, overwhelming or easy to die, then I have no clue what you're talking about. Like during chapter 14 there are a bunch of enemy waves to deal with, which are more about tactics than being tense. Like when you get swarmed getting the 3rd (I think) ice block (avoiding spoilers), it is 700% easier to hang out next to the exit than slowly pick them off in the hallway. I recently pulled this off NO PROBLEM with just my planet cutter (playing classic mode), so im...

They constantly offer them, so they're not in short supply.
They unlock purple / alien weapons on your level, which aren't unique.
There is plenty of ways to farm this stuff with only 1 key.
By the time you can make the most of them (level 40+), you most likely will have something better.
Weapons are random, so it's completely possible to get a bunch of guns you don't or can make effective use out of. A good example would be the splatter shotgu...
