I take it you don't talk to a lot of people...

If you actually talk to a lot of people that regular places like Hot Topic, you'll see a number of individuals that might call themselves gamers, yet couldn't tell you the most basic of basic things. Like the people that think Link is Zelda (even with a Link shirt on) or anything of the like. I've also known a few people to think that some things like Pikachu were from anime's and had no connection whats so e...

What does this have to do with the topic at hand? It's not like we're talking about models or any sort of professional that works in the game industry on any level, but girls that act a certain way to get attention. Besides the fact your point is completely irrelevant, you completely miss the issue too.

When it comes to starting a relationship with someone, people generally look for mutual interests. When it comes to gamers and more nerdy people, most of them are loo...

I know what you mean. When I saw it listed with the "June Plus Content" message, I figured it might be a sign it would be free in June.

Like it or not, it is bringing a diverse group of people into gaming, so it's not a completely evil game. So at the very least, gaming isn't viewed as the nerdy hobby it was 10+ years ago.

Terrible practice, but not like I expect better from EA.

Higher level missions give higher level rewards. Theres your guide summed up in 1 sentence. For those still confused, you have a higher chance at rank 8+ missions.

No one called it one, because it isn't... a Catch 22 is a paradoxical situation where you fundamentally can't win because of changing rules. It comes from the book of the same name and was about if I recall correctly, a pilot that wants to quit, but has to take a psych test to do so, but asking for the test proved he was thinking rationally, which automatically deemed his sane. There isn't such a problem here, since the statement is coming from a fan who basically claimed that was...

I know I will get a ton of disagrees for this, but it's nothing like the Chicken or the Egg. In fact, it's all pretty simple.

It's not EA, Sega, Capcom, Ubisoft or whatever companies job to sell _____ system, it's the company that owns the systems job to do that. It really is that simple, unless you think a third party company should constantly spend the money to make Wii U games, despite making minimal to no profit. That's not to say it doesn't happe...

In Skullgirls defense, this isn't a super big game / company, so it's not like they can afford to take a hit. To give you an idea, they needed a kickstarter just to afford to make DLC characters...

Seems like a great game, shame the preorder DLC has me rethinking my purchase.

The goal was to make the DX version the "only" one worth buying. While some people might disagree with me, if you ABSOLUTELY had to buy a Wii U, then ti would be illogical to not spend the extra money... it was just too much better by comparison.

Anyway, the problem with your idea is that it requires a lot of things you're not accounting for. First and foremost, Nintendo would need a create a way to unlock the extra modes. So this means they would need to press...

@ Ilovetheps4

some states charge and others don't. I do believe you legally have to declare it on your taxes, where you should get taxed for them, but obviously that's up to you.

Just release it one day, like Atelier Totori Plus.

@ Ozmoses

While this is a common practice, it's not uncommon for people to get up in arms about certain practices they don't agree with. Sadly these can seem hypocritical, since the last time I recall anyone complaining about this stuff, was WAY back when they made Catwoman a online pass and even that was more about Single Player content being locked out, than an actual problem. In a lot of ways I think the game you mentioned, Soul Sacrifice, is to blame for a lot mor...

A lesser version of Dead Rising was ported to the Wii, so it really isn't an exclusive either.

Also the Japanese version of ToV had additional content and stuff not featured in the Xbox version of the game, so it was also an updated version (like NG 2).

@ Root

The main difference is the way the medium is handled. When it comes to comics, it's not uncommon to see several different writers pick up the stories and various people going in different time lines / rewriting how events played out. Sure it isn't always idea, but it would get painfully boring if they had to constantly keep people alive (how many times can you let the villain get away / the villain fails to kill anyone of note) or if they constantly introduced ...

From what I understand about the bubble system, it basically tons a bunch of +'s to get one and only a few -'s to lose them. There doesn't really seem to be any rhyme or reason as to why the system works, but a lot of people will make dummy accounts to up their count. This can be seen with people like LogicWins, who sometimes has something good to say, but typically doesn't.

Was already announced to be launch DLC for $5 dollars.

I know I will get disagrees for this, but can we STOP jumping the god **** gun?

Preorder exclusive versions are marketing talk for "first run" copies. Look it virtually any example of this practice and you'll see that they're typically just launch editions. Like I've seen WAY more Bulletstorm special editions than normal editions and it's not impossible to find plenty of these other "special" editions.

Some examples that pe...

While you're without a doubt right that power =/= quality and that Nintendo has a number of solid first party titles, a lot of people seem to forget that these people are fishing.

When it comes to consoles, three things typically sell them. Value, cost and games, which the Wii U is lacking in every aspect. While the future does have better games coming out, there isn't a reason to do it today. I can easily wait till E3 and see a price drop or wait till Black Friday a...
