Dead Space has the potential to be an amazing Horror movie IF (and that is a massive "if") they take their time and get the right people on board to do it how it deserves to be done.
I love Dead Space (in my books it's stepped up and taken Res Evil's Survival Horror crown) and would love to see a WELL MADE and SERIOUS adaption to film.

Activision's attitude towards the industry and gamers (you know, those people that support their business and keep it afloat)right now is shameful.
If Activision can stand there and demand Sony to lower their prices or they will potentially boycott their system (whilst hiking their own prices) then i don't see why gamers can't treat Activision in the same way? SOTC definitely has an emotional impact. You become attached to Agro without a doubt and that's the only game i've ever played where i actually felt guilty for killing a character (All of the Colossi).

So true, the likes of Insomniac and Naughty Dog have proved that you can have the full package or great gameplay, story and graphics. They've raised the bar for developers and lead by example and seem to put alot of pride and effort into their games that some other devs seem lack sometimes!

It's nice to hear of multiplat game being developed to use the full capacity of a blu-ray rather than being restricted to the capacity of a single DVD for a change.
That's not intended as a flame but lets face it, that's pretty much what's has been happening up till now and it does get a little frustrating when you think of what a multiplat game could have potentially been if it wasn't restricted to using the smaller format.
