I'm not denying that the 360 exclusives sell more (they should do considering the 360 has shifted more units) and i'm certainly not running from the sales arguement.
My point was that you guys get such a hard-on for sales figures when it's the games themselves that count.

To be honest i thought that mission was boring as hell and could have been executed (no pun intended!) far more effectively to get the desired effect. In the end it came across as a lame attempt at gaining some controversial press coverage (nothing better than free publicity and we all know controversy sells!)
There were no repurcussions during the mission from the other terrorists if you didn't fire on the civilians, surely if you were on an undercover mission that would arous...

Judging by Sony's document it seems they are taking a pretty solid stance regarding this and there does seem to be an underlying tone of " be VERY careful how you broadcast this or there could be consequences". Sony's repair policy is no different to 99% of electronics manafacturers out there, one year free repair, after that you pay unless you buy and extended warranty. Fair enough in my opinion.

It seems Sony have really turned it around this last month or two.
Seems to me Sony used the old Ali vs Foreman rope-a-dope trick.
Microsoft (Foreman) came out early swinging hard and landing some big heavy blows to Sony (Ali) while Sony just appeared to lay back against the ropes and take it, not really throwing anything major back.

I can't believe it was nearly 9 years ago that i bought my PS2! (still going strong and working fine by the way).
I remember getting it home from the shops, unboxing it and throwing in GTA3 for the first time, i honestly thought it couldn't get any better than that at the time. Oh how wrong i was. Happy days.
